I was born and raised in the area. Used to love Hawthorns. Moved away from the area about 5 years ago but I’ve had to move back. Hawthorn is not the same as it was. The staff and food used to be amazing but it has severely gone down hill. Will not be going here again.

Big portions! Always fresh and fast service! Quality of food is great

Good food, good portions, good price. Ordered the other day and just put another order in via Uber eats. Good to have a great chippy in the area.

Hawthorn fish bar staff are always loverly and polite, food is always fantastic. Don’t be put off if there is a long line of customers waiting to be served. It’s busy because the food is well worth the wait.

Always great food, well packaged and tasty. The curry sauce is delicious. Definitely recommend.
