Great pub! Me and my husband always stop in for a Beamish on our way into town. They do a good pint and if you go early enough the vibes are very chill.nnIf you are going later, then prepare to be in a large crowd.nnThe loaded fries are tasty and the staff are friendly!

I did not try their food, per service, but I did have a pint of liquid bread! XDnnMy roommates helped me get heavy things up a lot of stairs, so I took them out for a drink. We chose Hatfield House for its atmosphere that seems more fun and more upbeat than its neighbors.nnThe staff were patient, respectful, and fast. We weren't rushed at all, despite having a grand conversation, and the staff cleared our glasses as we drained them. Top notch!
Beautiful venue & friendly staff
If you are an immigrant, be cautious. They seemed friendly at first but ended up charging us double. We ordered two pints, and I paid for them. Then my husband ordered his beer separately and had to pay again. Luckily, we noticed the price was unusually high.nnWhen we questioned the price, they tried to justify it by mentioning the exchange rate. However, we knew it didn’t make sense for one pint to cost £11 €13.31. Eventually, they refunded the money.nnSo, if you’re an immigrant, be wary of scams like this and always confirm the price beforehand.
