TERRIBLE SERVICE ! BEEN ON HOLD FOR WAY TOO LONG (NEARLY AN HOUR). ONLY TO BE TOLD UNDERWRITERS ARE NOT WORKING TODAY. RING BACK ON MONDAY TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS AGAIN ! NOTE - PAY ABIT MORE AND INSURE WITH A BETTER COMPANY !

Mother inlaw had idiot driver decide to drive into their fence. Claim and quotes put in to hastings which is the drivers insurer. This was before Christmas 2017 . Still no reply or interest despite repeated phone calls etc. Pay up HASTINGS. Dear Theo , (who will no doubt be apologising for the terrible service) Instead of apologising all of the time or suggesting live chat to all of the dissatisfied customers , complain to the boss that there isnt enough staff to offer a good service.

Worst insurance company I've ever had the misfortune of being with. Service is ignorant even the underwriters don't respond. Stephen Hall Assistant Underwriter. He did reply once. Waste of time and money. Failing customers permanently just read the reviews I'm not the only one. Don't waste your time.

AVOID! Appalling, and frankly embarrassing, (lack of) customer service. Crashed my car three weeks ago and I have not heard a single thing about it. They left it at the crash site for more than 24 hours, then when I rang to find out why, they said they had cancelled recovery. It was eventually recovered and taken to storage over the weekend. The following Monday I had a call from someone asking me where my car was, because nobody knew! Over a week passed, and I called numerous times, but nobody knew where my car was. It was finally found and taken to a garage and I was told it was 'likely' a write off. Now two weeks later, still having heard nothing from them, I rang them, only to be told my case has been closed. I have received NO correspondence. I don't know where my car is, if it's being fixed or written off, or when I'll find out. Meanwhile, I've had to pay for a hire car out of my own pocket, because they won't give me a courtesy car unless it goes in for repair. Absolute joke.

Extremely poor company with bad mentality towards its customers and in response to complaints gives the reasons "that the way it is". Avoid using these rip off merchants at all costs and certainly dont dare change your vehicle (to a less powerful, cheaper and less desirable one) once with them or expect extortionate increases in your policy despite being able to get the same policy from them as a new policy hundreds of pounds cheaper (the excuse being it's the way it is, £100's in their favour of course).
