Each week we get our bread from Hassetts and it stays fresh each week. Lovely cakes too. Would recommend for an occasion or for a weekend treat
Absolutely delicious coffee, as well as a really tasty variety of cakes, and their savoury items too, such as sausage rolls and savoury pies are just incredible. I've even bought boxes of chocolates here too that were heavenly, such great variety. Their mince pies every Christmas are the best I've ever had, and I've also given some to family members who say the same. Not to mention the staff are incredibly friendly too. I honestly can not fault this bakery at all.
The chocolate jelly stars are an explosion of sheer deliciousness once it hits your taste buds. These biscuits need to be in everyones house at all times during the year. Remember hassetts treats arent just for christmas time, they are essential for your tea time! If you dont believe me try one for yourself!
After seeing a picture of a beautiful cream cake on facebook the other week I made a trip to douglas to get a box of them as a family treat . 13e for the box for 5 cakes so not cheap but would have happily paid it for fresh cakes . Unfortunately they were very stale . I was even more disappointed the company deleted a comment I left on the same picture from the week previous stating the box was stale. Good customer service is free .
Shocking birthday cake for 30 euro , said chocolate fudge, was not chocolate fudge. The sponge filling was awful. Surprisingly poor chocolate cake.
They used to make these chocolate covered on top croissants, it's a pity they don't make them anymore, they were so delicious. Please, start making them again.
Beautiful selection as always. You can get the fresh baked smell before you see it.
I bought 2 packets of bakewell tarts in Douglas Court Shopping Centre on Thursday last they were out date on that day a bit disappointed ..I really like the Apple tarts
