Was there Friday 18.45 booking. Quick service in comfortable clean and modern surroundings. Nacho starters were good size and value. I had the full rack of ribs and they melted in the mouth. Can't fault the service or the food. Might want to invest in a hot air curtain for the door as the cold air blew in when people came through it. Well done.

Good food, and friendly staff. Steak I had was cooked to perfection. Would recommend as a food stop if you're in the area.

We went to Harvester Riverside for Christmas Day lunch, this was our 4th year but I am afraid to say it will be the last! We were very disappointed from start to finish. We arrived before our booked time but still had to wait over half an hour for our starters. When it came we sent my grandsons back because it was overcooked! Before we had finished, our main course arrived which we had to send back until we were ready! When it arrived the turkey dinners looked as though they had been thrown on the plate, the roast potatoes were burnt and because it was brought to the table too early it was only warm. The staff then proceeded to clear the table before we had all finished our meals. It seemed that they were in a hurry to finish, although I appreciate it was Christmas Day and we had booked our meal for 4pm but the level of service and food should be the same throughout. They came and asked if we wanted custard or brandy sauce on the Christmas Pudding, but nearly half an hour later we had to ask when the desserts would be served! Again they seemed so intent on getting the restaurant back to normal they had forgotten about us! We don't like being rushed but this went to a different level. We were really looking forward to our meal but were really disappointed. Christine Lee

Accommodated us as a large group (13) have plenty of highchairs too. Very up to date and clean. Fast service and allowed us to bring our own birthday cake. Relatively cheap and you can also order for takeaway buy they do not deliver.
