This is a Harvesters chain pub so the menu is pretty standard fair. That said it was well cooked and there was plenty of it. We were seated quickly and our greeter explained the various COVID rules in place. Normally this would get 4 stars, 3 for the fact that it's just a chain pub and 1 for the actual food as served at this visit and that service was good. HOWEVER the extra star here was for the exceptionally helpful staff. We visited with an elderly relative and the greeter was careful to make sure that our group was able manage the small number of steps between us and our intended seat. While we were there I observed the staff helping a disabled lady to navigate the route to the rest rooms and back and also helping an elderly couple manage the online track and trace requirements. They did this with what seemed to be genuine care and good cheer. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
The food was excellent. I had the Beyond beef burger go wild and it tasted like the real thing! My other family members had steak and a Christmas meal, the portions were generous and the desserts were to die for. The setting and layout is very relaxing. Staff are welcoming, helpful and cheerful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: The menu catered for vegans and vegetarians, options were very considerate in that regard. Meals on the menu could be adapted to suit. Kid-friendliness: This is a very relaxing and respectable restaurant so perfect for families with children. Parking: There is plenty of parking within the restaurant grounds and outside as it is located at a retail park. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access. The majority of the restaurant is one floor with ample space between table areas. It is a very spacious restaurant. Dietary restrictions: We were asked if there were any dietary restrictions which was reassuring that this would be catered for.
I only went in for coffee but ended up ordering food. I had my dog with me so sat away from the main dining area. The food was good. Had a bean burger and chips. The burger was delicious. It was served with lots of tasty things on the roll. My dog was given a bowl of water.Food: 4/5

Chelsea and Martina were absolutely incredible tonight, short staffed but nothing short of amazing. It may have taken a bit longer than usual but their bright and positive attitudes made up for it! The chef who delivered our meals was also absolutely incredible. I hope these guys get the credit they deserve. I also work in hospitality so I understand the pressures especially when short staffed but these guys were brilliant.
Excellent service from Ines and the food cooked by Neil couldn't be faulted. The salad bar was a little lacking but it was late on a Saturday night. The building could do with a refresh, but if you ignore that and enjoy the food, you'll be more than happy.
The food was very average chips were cold had to send them back The staff is terrible. They don't seem bothered at all. Have to ask 3 to 4 times for a glass of water which came at the end of the meal and never got the sauce we asked for twice. The only good thing about the restaurant is the free salad bar which we waited 20 minutes to get out bowls.
As always, the food was amazing! The staff are all very friendly too. Mr Bossman Paul took our order and was very helpful with regard to our keto diet. As always, Chelsea was very attentive, chatty and friendly. Very efficient too. We often bring people with us when we dine here, and everyone is always more than happy with the food and service.
Visited the Harvester for lunch. New menu, I had chicken, bacon & waffle. My mum had scampi. Was delicious & huge portion size. Staff were friendly & attentive. Definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Visited for breakfast. Buffet bar not open due to COVID, but able to order items from it along with main food order. Good choice of food - tasty and reasonably priced. Staff attentive.
