When we arrived the staff were very helpful,giving us our keys exceptionally quickly, but it took too much time for us to find our caravan, we then saw the interior, which was quite good, but the TV was quite small. The swimming pool and the staff was excellent, but the arcade machines were average, and constantly broken. The park was small, closed for the first day, and not targeted towards a large group of ages, but we found a way around it. Overall my experience was quite good, as the staff were good, and the beach was near, but if the holiday park had added a few extra flourishes, for example addressing the extreme bog and mud, it could have been made extraordinary.

A good family holiday camp that has undergone a lot of changes over the last couple of years. The pool and clubhouse are really good and the entertainment of mixed quality.
The arcade has been revamped too but is poorly let down by having no designated member of staff, consequently it is often a tip with local kids using it as a hang out and no-one keeping an eye as to what is going on.
The only other criticism is the restaurant opening times on booking in days, Monday and Friday, where it doesn't open until 6pm. Booking in is from 3 or 4pm, depending on accommodation, yet you can't get something to eat until 6 - I have even heard staff suggesting that people get chips from the off-site chippie!!!

Nice and close to beach and arcades The swimming pool is lots of fun and staff are friendly there. But did see Lots of rubbish around the caravans the site needs a good tidy up in most of the grassy areas around vans.

Run down dirty caravans. The place stinks of dog and urine. Hair all over the place. The dishes were wet and some food still on them. Beds were damp. So was the wardrobe. Wet all our clothes. Fire in the sitting room wouldn’t work. The place was freezing. Shower leeked. Toilet was lobsided. Lock was broken on front door. Bedroom radiator was a safety hazard as ot was detached from the switches. No footpath / slabs up to the caravan. Only grass. When it rains the whole place is covered in mud and u need to walk in it to get into the caravan. Our clothes and trainers were destroyed. Worse place I’ve ever stayed. Went home a day early as there is literally nothing to do there. U get a hour in the pool and they kick u out after an hour. Nothing else to do. Wouldn’t go there again if I was given a free holiday !! Save ur money as you’ll only be disappointed 😔

We enjoyed our stay and loved the pool facilities. We rented B88 a two bedroom static, it had an exceptional lounge, a great kitchen with plenty storage and good quality kitchen equipment. The central heating was first class and a coal effect remote controlled 🔥 fire added to the ambience. There is plenty of seating around the perimeter of the lounge one corner additionally has a table with 4 serving and sitting positions. One bedroom has twin beds. The other a double. We didn't find the double bed sufficiently comfortable. That was a factor motivating us we live 70 miles away therefore once the pool closed we opted to reschedule and drive home, to our more comfortable bed.
