We love coming here for some tasty treats when on holiday in this area. Staff always friendly and ready to help. This time we got two chicken and cheese mixed Pepper panini which where delicious and filling. We had victoria spong and fudge donut to round off our dinner which where amazing. I think it's the best fudge donut I have ever had. Our son ate all his sausage roll up so that gave us a few hours of peace and quiet! Thanks guys....we will be back!
Everytime we visit Dornoch, we always drop in for a steak pie. It is the official lunch that signals the start of our time out of the big smoke down south. When the wife's not looking, I even sneak some sweets out of there too
Tasty bakery goods. Very impressed with our hot snacks.
Fantastic steak and gravy pie. Asked the nice lady who we could not see her beautiful smile behind her mask where would be best to park up and nibble on it with a cup of tea. Local knowledge said "Loch Fleet". Which was great. And I later tucked into her pair of soft white baps later on in the day.
We don't have a Harry Gow near us. Always pop in when up Dornoch way. Their pies, the pasty is just so delicious, my favourite is the macaroni pie . The pastries are really good too, though my favourite is the snowball .
Of all the Harry Gow's I have been to this is without a doubt my favourite. Although the menu is no different, the staff make all the difference. The only gripe is that the salad ingredients have changed which is a shame. They also serve ice-cream here.
Popped in almost every day for some fruit scones, they are delicious. Heading home, asked the lassie In the shop if I could order 4 packs to take home well, she phoned me this morning, 4 packs were waiting on me Well done to the staff in the Dornoch shop, always pleasant and professional Thank you
Very disappointing from a ‘Scottish Baker of the Year 2019/20’. I visited the Dornoch Harry Gow's on 1st September 2020. Very friendly service. But...They sell bread rolls and sliced bread like you would find in any supermarket. The pastries look like anything you would buy anywhere. I ordered a buttery, which I had to throw away after one bit as the thing was so dry. The worse is they seem to have been awarded ‘Scottish Baker of the Year 2019/20’. What a joke. I love bread and pastries and have tried amazing goodies from artisan bakers in Scotland. I feel this is an insult to these artisan bakers and I cannot believe that this Harry Gow’s chain can get such an award – this is truly a joke of an award.
Good sandwiches. The apple turnover amd shortbread were fantastic.
Lovely food and friendly service. I had the mac and cheese pie, strawberry tart and Victoria sponge. The Victoria sponge tasted like a delicious cloud!
