Great park! Good size with a lake full of a big number of swans. There is a café there where you can buy food, tea, and coffee with a very friendly staff. Loved my walk there.
Very nice clean park. It was very cold day so having a hot tea the cafe was a blessing. Amazed to see so many swans in the lake. Looking forward to going back in the summer.
The park has a well defined path, that leads from the car park to the lake. Very popular with dog walkers. The park has a cafe near the lake serving hot food and drinks. They have cash less payment, if you spend a minimum £10!
Great park, with well maintained foot paths and a pretty lake. Good for a stroll! This is a well located park, with multiple entrances in Hornchurch and Elm Park. It’s close to Elm Park town centre and also fairly close to Hornchurch town centre too so you can just get a bus and then walk, or park in the free car parks. There’s a lovely boating lake in the middle with a good Cafe and a lot of birds and wildlife around.
Lovely park and the Christmas lights are absolutely stunning! It was really worth it! Totally recommend it! Amazing! And the Santa's Grotto was also amazing!
Well maintained, and has some smooth paths if you’re a runner. Also has open air fitness things such as monkey bars and the like.
I visited the park because of its wonderful, friendly, parkrun. For connoisseurs of parkrun, Harrow Lodge parkrun is that rare animal: a single lap course! It's run on a mixture of grass/mud and concrete paths. It took me five minutes to park, but only because the pigeons wouldn't move! The cafe, Lakeview Palace, was doing a roaring trade. The park is a haven for wildfowl, with its river and large lake. Garden for the Blind, a sensory experience for blind and autistic people, adjoins the park, and is next to the modern sports centre
Went for the Christmas light walk, I would recommend. It's not the biggest, but what they have done is good.
Nice and tidy park, well maintained. Visited Sunday with kids. Kids enjoyed as there is children playing area. Also good and big fields and track for walk and big lake as well, where there are many ducks and swans lots of tree for fresh air. Overall beautiful park.
Lovely public park with a pleasant small cafe, boating lake, playing pitches for football and two reasonably sized car parks. Worth a visit if you want a nice walk around the area of want to give your dog a good run. There is no lighting in the park. Dog-friendliness: Large open green space
