I attended Harrogate Magistrates Court with my mum who is paralysed and in a wheelchair. One of the security guards was rude and unhelpful to her asking her if she could walk on two occasions. Finally they said she couldn’t access the court as the lift wasn’t working and had been like that for over two years. My mum said what if she had been the defendant having to go into Court. It is basically unacceptable in this day and age in a public Court building that it is not accessible to everyone. An utter disgrace to Harrogate Council……do they not have disabled people in North Yorkshire?
Had 6 points put on me driving license the judge was more concerned about why we should re open the case when I work in armed forces they are not interested in anyone's hearing all they care about is themselves.
Magistrates that don't listen, now I have to sell my business and put two single mums out of work and basically be jobless homeless and no pension left Thank you ladies, your understanding of hardship is second to none
No compassion all they think about is the speed, nothing else
Lost my licence due to an officer who hasn't performed a full 100% check on the speed camera device. The magistrates favoured the officer side due to his lack of testing and also i received a CPS letter less than a week from the court hearing which was unfair for me, then to a point the court found me guilty.
Impossible to get through on the phone lines. Seems to be the case with any government agency/public service post Covid!! I'll send a letter, recorded delivery so I know they received it. Unlike what they done for me!!
Failed to give me correct documents, only open when I'm working and wont reply to my email. Pathetic, they're playing with people's lives.
Very friendly door security team and helped with where each courtroom was, only drawback was that the air con must have been broken as it was quite hot in there !
I've been trying to get through just to speak to someone for the past THREE DAYS! All I get is a pathetic answerphone message stating you cannot queue to be answered nor leave a message. Have you got NO staff in that place??? APPALLING SERVICE FROM A GOVERNMENT AGENCY!!!
