Want to give 0 stars. Not a very good surgery if you need follow up care and treatment. You never get to see the same doctor. There is never any appointments available on the day and sorting a repeat prescription takes a long time to get right. I lost my Daughter in 2019 and it’s now 2024 and I’m still waiting for a gp from the surgery to refer me for something like talking therapy or counselling but they never seem to have any services available and referred me to the mental health team who also have no services for therapy and both Gp surgery and Mental health team seem more concerned about medicating me rather than helping me to access actual support.
Moved to Portreath 18 months ago. I have nothing but praise for the Harris surgery, right from the start I have found the team supportive, proactive and very polite. Substantial improvement from my previous 30 years experience in North Somerset.
Completely under staffed and they are so rude and blame your physical health on anxiety which is wrong when you are in so much pain much pain from diverticulitis and flare ups they just say anxiety they brain wash give you medicines like lansoprazole and omeprazole to heal my esophagitis and it makes it worse plus I said I am allergic to them and they say keep taking them but you should only be on them for 4 weeks max they just don't have any research in medicines and side are panic attacks on both medicines and depression they probably no the side effects but don't care worsed surgery in cornwall the receptionists are useless and forgot to get hold of a doctor to phone you back and doctors have not got aclue about medicines they have to look it up on there computer pathetic.
I never have any problems with this surgery. Always helpful and friendly. The pharmacy staff who I see most often are lovely. As far as I am concerned I rate them first class!!!
Didnot deserve one star ,tried since Feb this year after registration with them to get hrt replacement, told to do it online ,but can't as they have never prescribed me what I need ,so tried calling several times just to wait wait and wait and no answer smear due over 6 months ago now I've had cancer of the cervix ,but appointment cancelled as no nurse in a doctors surgery to do it ! Absolutely disgusting service
My appointment was made for 10:30am and I waiting for a total of 80 minutes!!! Absolutely disgusting! I went to receptionist after 30 minutes and she couldn’t even give me a rough time how much longer I needed to wait, in the end 80 minutes went by, when I was waiting the 2nd time to speak to receptionist the new one I overheard .. she completely looked through me and dint acknowledge me atall and spoke to the patient behind me. WORST DOCTORS EVER ! RUDE! I’m now left worried, upset and frustrated. Dealing with this doctor surgery only makes you upset with how you get treated. DO NOT ATTEND!
Negligence to the point of malpractice. A place to recommend only to one's mortal enemies.
Just waited in a queue 8th in line for 42 minutes from 2 minutes past 8 this morning to finally be answered and told all triage spots are filled for the day. This place is a shambles, unable to pass on a message to a doctors as they are about to start surgery, just require controlled drug prescription which must be prescribed by doctor Practice will only allow 4 weeks prescribed drugs and 2 weeks controlled drugs because of costs Just pass you on to a and e
Gone to pot since Dr Gethen left. Been trying to see a Dr for two months now. Been told I have phone consultations booked only to stay in all day and not receive a call. Twice. Later informed one of those appointments was not even booked in on the system. Dreadful service taking advantage of the covid pandemic to work from home and not see patients.
Always such rude receptionist, expect from one lady not sure what her name was. As soon as you get on the phone to them after waiting so long for them to pick up to you, it feels like the are trying to get you off the phone as soon as you’re on asking you to do it online and to go else where if emergency without even giving me a chance to explain my reason of calling. They don’t sound friendly at all, talk really bluntly and rushed. Told me to call again tomorrow, for me to just get the same treatment. Awful service and attitude.
