Even after being vegan for over 10 years, eating out can be a real drag. The Harp & Crown have put the joy back into going out for a treat. The restaurant has a lovely light, modern relaxed vibe. It's dog friendly as well. All the waiting staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and paced the serving well. We didn't feel rushed and neither did we have to wait long between courses, even though they were incredibly busy. Now the food.... Oh my days! It was all absolutely divine!! Ever dish burst with flavour. None of your bland plant based food here. I wanted to recommend what we ate, but to be honest, I recommend it all!! But make sure you don't leave without trying the sticky toffee pudding. Just go and enjoy. I plan to work through the menu from top to bottom. Yes we're going back very soon!
Absolutely fantastic place for amazing Vegan food. The staff are always lovely, food is great, garden / inside seating always has a lovely atmosphere & toilets clean. Have brought family here & they all loved it too. Thoroughly recommend. Dog friendly too.
After hearing good reports for a while, we decided to visit. Wow! What a delight?! A warm welcome on arrival despite being late due to flooded roads and a calm approach completely redeemed an evening that was off to a bad start. Thankyou. Stunning, fresh, interesting food. Great service. Very reasonably priced given the high quality all 'round. I've already raved to several foodie friends..and look forward to returning. You'll be one of my "go to" places if I'm going out from here on. So fab to see a local pub bravely upholding the vegan menu ... Really hard to fault. 5
The best vegan food! I had an amazing festive roast. The "salmon" starter and espresso martini started and finished the meal perfectly. Nice touch to include coffee and teas in the 3 course deal. And doggie treats! Very friendly service from Genna too. And such a beautiful building.
Lovely place and tasty food! This all vegan pub & restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and awesome staff. If you go, you have to try the Cauliflower wings and the Nachos. The rooms are brilliantly decorated and cute as hell! Food was amazing but I wouldn't have the Mac & Cheese again - the rest was super delicious. Definitely would recommend.
Absolutely loved it here! Went for my birthday me being the only vegan and my family of non vegans loved it too. Absolutely delicious food. Lovely wine and all very reasonably priced. Had starter, main and dessert. The hot chocolate menu looks delicious too. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Drove 40mins to get there, well worth the trip. If you think vegan food isn't tasty......go here!

It’s easily one of the best vegan places, hands down. I celebrated my birthday here with a party of 10 and the staff was really helpful and accommodating from the moment of my booking until the day we came there for my birthday. The food was super delicious and of high quality, the prices were really reasonable for the amount of serving we had. I had their Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding and I was totally in love.
Omg amazing food! Husband is vegan so thought we’d go for a evening out at a vegan venue. It did not disappoint!! Friggin fantastic food and staff were super friendly. Definitely going back
This was by far the best Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had. I spent 3 days in London after visiting the Harp & Crown, and nothing in the city compared. Thank you so much for the great food and thank you for what you do with your sanctuary as well.
