The Park and Ride is a great service, regular buses run every 20 minutes, so if you do miss one, then you won't have too much of a wait. They have 3 sites strategically located around the outskirts of the town, if you are travelling from outside of Shrewsbury then you will find a site located on the main approach from North-East, South and West. There is no extra charge for parking, tickets are currently £2 and this allows you travel into and out of the town centre, within the operating times of the service.
We found this park and ride to be very good, busses every 20 mins, £2.00 return no parking fees.nSituated next to Tesco is an added bonus too.
Easy to find, close to other ammenities. Buses are usually every 20 minutes although on this occasion they were very late due to a road closure. Having a shelter to wait in is good for wet days. Drivers seem to be friendly and helpful.
Waited nearly an hour both ways in the rain for a bus, not sure what's going on but we did Chester the day before and that was spot on. Always used to be so good.
Great facility, used our bus pass, only cost £1 each. Highly recommended
