I don’t understand all the negative reviews. Have been using this pharmacy for a few years and staff have always been very pleasant , especially in last 2 years it’s possible they changed management around 2-3 years ago. Always accepted card payments and very efficient service. Friendly counter staff. I had a broken leg couple of years ago and couldn’t easily come to collect a prescription and the staff member dropped it off at my flat . They seem to stock everything you could want from a pharmacist plus make up, hair products, tights etc. My go to place for emergencies .
26.9.2023 NHS Choices Pharmacy Great Staff - Empathy beyond expectation Harfleur Pharmacy continue to be an excellent and reliable local pharmacy and, despite having multiple alternatives much nearer to home, I would always choose to use their services. Efficient and responsive, they work closely with local GP practices which means problems are sorted out quickly and with the minimum of fuss. Interactions with all their customers are friendly, helpful and empathetic. They are the perfect example of well-run, professional business that offers their customers a highly professional and personable service. I praise the person who chose these members of staff. From Jenny, Mayur, Shreya, Niraj, and many many others working in there, they all show empathy, compassion, respect, kindness. They make us feel valued. I'm sure they have a huge work load and not enough time, but they have always come on top. Brilliantly. They go way beyond to satisfy all their customers. They have always reminded me when it's time to reorder my monthly repeat prescription. They take the effort to remember and greet all their repeat customers by their name. This excellent effort by them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed. Kindest regards Imran Farooq
This is probably one of the worst pharmacies in London. The staff are incompetent and don't care about the customer well-being, it is quite shocking to observe the total indifference. They also try to get people to pay in cash, despite the card machine working fine. It is quite surprising it manages to continue business
These people shouldn't be permitted to operate a pharmacy. When I wasn't feeling well, I went in to inquire about checking my blood pressure, and they insisted on a prescription. This was my first experience encountering such unprofessional behavior. I would have paid for it if this was their concern !!! I had to leave and ask to another pharmacy .
Harfleur pharmacy has been my chemist since five years ago. Their services are exemplary, the staff is always friendly and ready to help you with anything you need, be it medical advice, or advice on drugs and medication, or how to navigate the GP and other layers of health system.
The actual chemist is a nice lady the men in that place all have anger issues one told me to sit like a dog then they all tryed to intimidate me by squaring up to me and eyeballing me like they wanted to fight they were also on there phones when i walked in this pharmacy is below par never have half your meds the place looks run down and tacki my personal advice DO NOT COME HERE all but one person is scum
Absolutely appalling service, extortionate over pricing my private prescription is usually between £3-£6 however I was informed they have a minimum price of £14.99! This was actually put through the till as £15. I gave the pharmacy a weeks notice of my prescription and was told it would be ordered only to be very rudely told that they had not ordered anything and wouldn’t accept the prescription even though they had done previously. It was an emergency and I was visibly very ill however they were appalling. AVOID THIS CHEMIST. The pricing is so arbitrary and expensive that the lady behind me was asking for a refund for her purchase because she had been charged £7 for a Female hygiene product that was being sold next door for £1.50. Furthermore the information they are giving out is medically incorrect under NHS guidelines and when asked to explain they get increasingly belligerent and obnoxious. THERE ARE SO MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS THAT I THINK THEY ARE ABUSING THE PRICING AND THE NHS POLICY TO THEIR BENEFIT. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM AS IS MY CONSULTANT.
Been using this pharmacy for years. Like others, I have had a less than positive experience on occasion, notably the rude pharmacist a mature gentleman and his general belligerence. However, the other staff have always been, all of them, friendly and helpful, and at times almost apologetic on the pharmacist’s behalf. For the past couple of years, though, there has been a great improvement. The female pharmacist is very helpful and extremely efficient, together with the other staff - who have always been good - and the pharmacy is much improved. They always get the prescription right and package it in a good way, and they are happy to answer any questions or to explain anything needed. My experience these days is literally in and out within a few minutes - no mean feat when there are multiple medications to be dispensed. Very good service. Am marking down from what would have been a four-star review as the pharmqcy door is often faulty, and the floor tiles edges especially are in need of a deep clean and/or replacement.
I posted a review last year, but I would like to send another one because it really is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Staff have never let me down......friendly service always with a smile and so helpful....no matter what. Thanking you so very much. Kind regards.
I don't know which chemist the other reviewers visited but we were incredibly pleased with our experience. We were travelling from overseas and left behind some critical medicine. The staff here went out of their way to ensure that we got an emergency supply of it the same day. I can't thank them enough for saving our holiday. Please consider sending them your business!
