My son recently attended a gig at the Hare & Hounds in Birmingham and had a really positive experience. Before the show, we stopped in the separate pub area for a drink. The place had a great atmosphere — busy, lively, and with a genuinely good feel to it.nnAlthough he only had a drink, the service was friendly and efficient, and the beer was good quality. It set the tone nicely for the evening. Overall, a great spot for both live music and a pre-gig drink.
Great venue for smaller gigs. Pub that serves food and two gig rooms..The upstairs one was really intimate which meant I could get up close and personal to my favourite guitar player, Eric Steckel. No issues parking on the streets around the venue either.
Wonderful venue with lovely staff. Has 2 separate venues; we visited room 2 which is upstairs - an intimate space with a small stage. The downstairs bar is very charming and the service was impeccable. We tried a couple of sides from the menu before the gig 20% off food with a ticket at the time of writing! which were very tasty. The mac n cheese hash brown was amazingly indulgent. Thoroughly recommend for a gig, a bite to eat or just a drink.
Fabulous night out. Friendly, attentive staff but best of all such a g8t vibe. Will try food next time because it certainly looked and smelt delicious
I love this place. Great boozer and an amazing sound system in the upstairs venuenA range of different styles of music, bands an themed club nights. Everything from D&B to indie pop to techno to punk.nStaff and punters are cool. I'm very lucky as its only a 20 minute drive from home.nIt's also a beautiful building!
