Great stuff horrible owners who take all the credit despite not doing very much. They treat there staff poorly and unfair and tend to talk behind customers backs and judge (proof is by most of the old regulars going to different pubs and then consistently going through staff and hiring new ones). It’s also known that some of there food is just heated up in a microwave and certain foods are canned such as the macaroni which is just made to look fresh with a bit of bread crumbs. Some is also premade by other companies and microwaved such as all of the puddings, lasagna and the rice is usually just packaged rice heated in a microwave and if it’s been cooked wrong or done wrong they will not point it out or try to change it unless said so by the customer. Also the stuff they call fresh orange juice is just Tropicana charged at a extortionate price. If you have wine is likely that the bottle was opened many days ago or maybe a week and sat on the side until someone else purchases it (you can see it on the side near the gin on the counter or in the fridge below unless your lucky and they have to open a new bottle).

Lovely staff. Good food and large portions. Very well set out with a cosy lounge, bar area and restaurant separately so you feel welcome whatever you visited for.

Beautiful old pub with huge inglenook fireplace, which made it very cosy. Menu extensive with very good value lunchtime specials. The food was excellent and staff extremely friendly.
