Went in to get a quick refreshment and i was pleasantly surprised with the lemon mango slushy! very much recommend.Food: 4/5
Nice bubble tea place. It was very busy and the regular size with tapioca was £5 something. Some you can choose the level of sweetness and some you can’t. They don’t ask about the level of ice either. Mango Green tea wasn’t too sweet. It was refreshing.
Go to brown sugar milk tea, there are better places but this will always hold a special place in my heart as one of my original places. Also feels like the staff is always the same so it’s quite nice and familiar seeing them
The best place and probably the rare one to serve salted cheese bubble tea! My absolute favourite!! I just love their salted cheese bubble tea, especially the milk tea with salted cheese. And the cheesecakes are absolutely divine. Service is quick, but, queues especially over the weekends can be really long! They do not offer seating due to the heavy crowd. So if visiting during peak time,be ready to wait.
staff are dysfunctional & rude as hell, while taking my order one of them received a phone call and left the till as i was ordering which then provoked somebody else to take my order for me and they laughed like it’s funny. i would not recommend the milk tea as it had a chocolatey taste to it which was super off putting though their fruit tea is decent. overall i wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for something that is rich in taste.
My go to bubble tea and cheesecake place when I’m in the area. The cheesecake is my fav thing ever, great balance of density, airiness, sweetness. Bubble tea options are great!Food: 5/5
Authentic, friendly, and my regular spot for years - hand on heart as we've utilised their loyalty programme many times. You cannot go wrong with the quality and consistency, and this is why we order 4 drinks in one go every time we are in central. We always plan our outings to make sure we come here before closing. No fuss atmosphere and a small, efficient shop with a great size fridge full of food items when stocked. The crepe cakes are a must indulgence and worth it. Matcha if you love the actual taste of it, and Oreo which has been a firm favourite as it's a delicate chocolate flavour. The staff are always friendly, and quick with orders. If you want a real taste of Taiwanese bubble tea, come here. The tea is properly brewed so when you order a milk tea, the tea flavour comes through. For me this is important, especially with Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It is so delicious with great tea flavour, and always consistent. My other three favourite usual orders are Fresh Graperfuit Yoghurt, which is like having a big cup of Yakult with fresh fruit. Fresh Passionfruit Yoghurt and Purple Yam with Taro Ball Milk Tea. If you want UBE, come here as they have it and know the differencr between ube and taro. Another standout is what my husband is mad for, Fresh Passionfruit with Mango Tea and only lychee jelly. He literally ONLY orders this every single time that the staff get the order started once we arrive. If you want to have a regular spot, come to Happy Lemon.
Always order from here when I’m in London, I came here before my concert and ordered the peach tea and lychee jellies and the brown sugar milk tea. Both were amazing and was exactly what I expected to satisfy me and my friend. Service is very quick but it is quite cramped but the helpful staff make up for it and I don’t blame them for being cramped! They had lot’s of customers for good reason.
Ordered the Lemon Mango Slushie to cool down after a hot day Service was efficient but didn’t speak to the cashier much to say otherwise The Slushie itself was very refreshing and I was surprised at the actual mango pieces and jelly in the slushie, very nice addition. However there was not a really noticeable lemon flavour
Today was the worst experience for me. When I asked for handcrafted lemon black tea, the worker taking my order told me they never made this tea with black tea and only green tea I have ordered the handcrafted lemon black tea mutiple times from this establishment before, and it is also listed on the menu. I asked again to see if she meant that there was no black tea left, but she repeated herself and told me it is never made with black tea, only with green tea. As I didn't want to cause any trouble, I said I would try the handcrafted lemon green tea instead. I asked for one drink to have regular sugar and ice, and two with half sugar with no ice, I didn't specify any toppings as I know the handcrafted teas do not come with toppings. As the drinks were a gift and I was in a rush, I did not immediately check the tea until I got home and as I did, I realised there was no lemon in the drinks and there was jelly in all of them as well. After the people I bought the tea for tried it, they told me it tasted like soap and that there is no lemon taste in the tea. I then got my friend who can read Chinese to read the receipt, and she told me that the woman had given me three kumquat lime green teas, and that jelly was not listed as a topping on the receipt. I know this order was meant for me as I was the only customer waiting at the time.
