My Husband and I have been a few times with our 2 year old Grandson and it's a joy to go there. It bought back so many childhood memories and it's wonderful to see how much money has been spent to restore it to it's former glory. Absolutely love going there.
Such a lovely big park. Fabulous lake with a working fountain. Found it very clean and well kept. A canal runs through it too. Great children's play area and there are tennis and cricket courts. Lots of birds and squirrels to see. Think there's a cafe but it wasn't open when we visited. Overall a very nice place to spend a few hours.
A brilliant park with 3 play areas to inspire different ages. Enjoy a walk round the lake or play basketball/ football on the pitches. You can buy a hot drink plus snack but only problem is, the public toilets are locked.
Lovely place to walk around and in the pavilion there is a cafe which does hot and cold food and drink for take out only at present time.
It was amazing, my little one had a lot of fun
Just tried the cafe in the park out for the first time, really nicely kitted out, a little gem the middle of the park daughter had oatcakes, lovely done with lots of cheese. Really lovely lady serving, will definitely use again. A great treat if gone to the park with your children then go for dinner! It's open 10-3

Great place to get out for a walk. Little cafe is lovely and would be great in summer
