A friend brought me to this hidden gem of a restaurant, and I'm so glad she did. The food is tasty, authentic and great value, and it feels like being transported to a street food stall in Asia. I tried both tteobokki and Korean Army stew here for the first time and both were very tasty. They do not accept card, but you can get cash back at the store section or pay with Revolut. The staff in the shop section is very friendly and helpful.
This place is close to my heart. Its not the fancy place, but very much welcoming to have some asian food. If u dont have cash, they can take your payment via revolut. The food is always great. They made me fell in love with kimchi fried rice, and turn it into ky comfort food. The servings are very genoruous, and always cooked upon order, not to mention a free soup that is self serving.
Excellent Korean food! Everything we tried was perfect. Quite busy around lunch time.
Great Staff and delicious food! The Supermarket is a pleasure to browse and the people managing it welcoming and friendly.
Pretty good honey garlic wings €9.90 for a dozen.
I love this place, it's cheap and cheerful, prices have increased recently but the value is still there. You can buy food and drinks up the front in the shop and down back is a simple looking canteen that sells the most amazing Korean food at amazing prices. I've tried a few Korean places in town and none of them come close to the food in this place. Try a Kimchi fried rice or a bibimbap, you will not be disappointed. I tried out the naengmyeon cold noodles on a warm summer day and it was very tasty.I can't recommend this place highly enough and still have a few visits to make as I haven't made my way through the whole menu yet. The boba tea menu is great too.
Used to enjoy the food here but not so much my last visit. Braised pork is not good. Actually it’s not braised at all. It’s just pork that’s boiled in water for like 10 mins until just cooked, then they pour a sauce over the top. Very, very tough like old leather boots and cut way too thick. Some pieces are just fat, which wouldn’t really be a problem if it’s actually braised in the sauce for some time and has a chance to absorb some flavour and tenderise…
It was fine but not special or notable in any way. The surroundings is the main issue. I would expect a lower price point or bigger portions when there’s nothing enjoyable about the ‘restaurant’ itself. The furniture is mismatched and the place isn’t the cleanest. It wasn’t the worst experience but I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic Korean food, very popular with Korean expats. Unfortunately long waiting times.
I'm not sure the staff was try to cheat or not. I bought two noodles. And he scaned expensive one twice instead of scanning once each. So, I told him what he did and he just laugh then scan properly.
