Nice enough if they are open and you are passing by, I asked for their opening times, it's confusingly different every day, but they still don't stick to them. Cheese isn't the nicest and they are a bit expensive for what you get.  If you don't mind going a bit further try the one on Haywood road instead.

VERY RUDE man owns this place - nice oatcakes but his attitude ruins the place. He physically removed my baby daughters hand when she only TOUCHED his till, making her cry, and he asked me to remove her away from it, complaining that the barely 1year old may break it. Heaven knows what sensitive equipment he has if the touch of a child can break it! Have not been back since which is a shame as Mick the old owner was absolutely brilliant and a true gentleman. I have lived local all my life and remember going to this oatcake shop before school and Mick being kind and caring, giving me the odd free cake! This miserable man on the other hand, seems rude to his own staff as well as paying customers - most definitely needs training in customer service. I would prefer to go hungry than give him my money.
