Been spending money in this shop for around four years,normally very plesant to go into and staff are all very nice and helpful,as of late however i have found that many things i buy are out of date,chrisps,chocolate,soup and pot noodles,i have had all of these items out of date on more than one occasion,sometimes i take them back and other times i just bin them. Recently i bought 2x virgin sim card that were out of date,when i took them back and requested a refund or if they had any that were in date,i got a bad look from one of the new staff memebers,i do not know if he is the owner or staff but two of the guys that now always work there never used to be there,anyway .. got a bad look and then he checked both sims as if i were lying and then found 2 sims that were infact in date,a week later my partner bought 5 pks of chrisps,one for each of the kids including me and partner,4 or the 5 pks were out of date and we disnt realise till we were miles away in the car,those too got binned and new ones bought from another shop. The final straw for me was this morning when i realised i had ran out of bottle water for kids school,i thought i had enough money on me but was 15p short,i live very close to the shop and i am in there almost daily for the last four years,i asked if i could hand the 15p in this morning and was told a blank NO,69p for kids water is bad enough as its normally 49p elsewhere,i asked if there was any cheaper water and got another NO as the answer,this shop owes me for a few tins of soup,a pot noodle and countless chrisps and chocolate that i never bothered to take back,im not raging or angry but neither me or my family will use this shop again,there are other better options that also sell food stuffs that are in date and cheaper too.
