Great place during the day. Took children from a school to learn about wildlife, effects of humans on the habitats etc. Bit different at night.... Be careful

A lovely place for a short walk. Never overly busy.

Growing up in this area I've always enjoyed hall lee bank park (old park)as it's known to us locals. It's great for a slow Sunday stroll through the small forrest, bike ride, jogging or a welly walk as we call it through the river, with 3 small ponds on the top fields it's also good for fishing if your into that. In need of much restoration and clean up,it'd also be nice for picnic areas to be introduced, maybe even a play area on the clearing in the middle next to what used to be the white bridge.

Great little walk with some hidden little known facts. If you walk up the steps on the opposite side of the path, away from the stream. In the fields, there are some ponds. These are actually WW2 German bomb craters from when they tried, but failed to bomb Bellhouse Hartwell, the RAF manufacturer.
