Highly recommend the Greyhound Trust Hall Green. We recently adopted Guiness the greyhound and Shaz and the whole team made it an absolute pleasure. From helping select the dog to suit our family, discussing the dogs needs, talking us through the foster to adopt scheme right to the full adoption, the support they have offered is second to none and it’s clear the dogs welfare is put first above everything. Amazing group of people with some amazing dogs!
The staff could not have been more helpful as we explored the possibility of adopting a retired greyhound, discovering which might suit us, and introducing us to several possibilities until we found the one that is right for us. Their understanding and care for each greyhound is outstanding, and they gladly share their hard won expertise with those of us who are new to the breed. We gladly commend the breed and the Trust.
If your looking for a greyhound as a pet this is the place to go. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Great choice of dogs in a fantastic environment.
You thinking of giving a home to a beautiful greyhound, then you have come to the right place. An amazing team of volunteers to help match you to a greyhound to become part of your family. You would struggle to find a homing centre with as much knowledge, love and care for the greyhounds they look after until they find a home. The fact they have homed over 3, 000 greyhounds since they became an independent branch of the Greyhound Trust speaks volumes. I wouldn't go anywhere else now for a greyhound and there will be plenty more in the future...
Run completely by volunteers who give up their time to help these wonderful dogs get their forever homes. Always welcoming and very knowledgeable about the breed. The after care given when a dog goes to a home is excellent, always on the end of a phone to offer advice and if they don't know the answer they will find someone who does and support you through that problem.
Very happy with the service we received when in the process of adopting our new greyhound. The staff were excellent and made sure Dexter was the perfect fit for our household. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to rehome a greyhound and supporting this wonderful charity.
A fantastic Branch, self funding, and volunteer lead so all the money raised goes back to the hounds. 279 hounds homed in 2021 a record for the Branch and well deserved. With 2 sites in Stourbridge and Shenstone, their devotion is amazing. We have homed 6 greyhounds from them.
We adopted Skye last January from Hall Green, it is run by fantastically helpful volunteers who really care about the greyhounds and want to make sure they find their loving forever homes. Also monthly walks organised if you want to go, so can meet up with other owners which is great and the dogs love it
Volunteers go above and beyond to ensure welfare of greyhounds comes first. They work tirelessly behind the scenes and despite some volunteers having full time jobs themselves,they are there come rain or shine to ensure the greyhounds are looked after,socialised and cared for. You will not find a more devoted and loyal branch as Hall Green.
We recently adopted our fourth greyhound from Hall Green greyhounds. The volunteers are professional, dedicated, helpful and knowledgeable. They recognise that all greyhounds have different personalities and do their utmost to match adopters with a suitable dog. They are on hand for advice both before and after adoption. Highly recommend.
