New Leaf saved my life. After struggling with addiction for many years I hit rock bottom, I truly felt I had no way out I lived day to day in misery. A friend referred me to New Leaf I reached out in desperation & asked for their help. I was saved that day…. After a week detox I spent 3wks being educated about addiction, guided through a recovery process, whilst being nurtured & retaught life skills as a sober member of society. I attend aftercare weekly which is another guiding light for me, giving me further accountability and commitment to my recovery. The staff & my fellow housemates have changed my life. I am free to live a life without active addiction, I now know how to manage a good life in recovery. Forever grateful
This place, and the dedicated people who worked there helped me put my life back on track. More than that, they saved my life. If you are struggling with addiction, New Leaf can help you help yourself. I am forever grateful to John and the team x
I cannot begin to thank all of the wonderful staff at New Leaf. I was welcomed from the moment I made my first call. I did a weeks detox and I felt so welcome and at ease. The staff gave me so much support and encouragement and I can’t recommend this beautiful place enough. If you are looking for a rehab with a difference, look no further than this special, magical place!
New Leaf has changed my life. The whole experience, from start to finish, was fantastic. They taught me so much about myself and recovery. Things I've taken into the world, outside the bubble of rehabilitation. When I first arrived I didn't know what to expect, who I'd meet, what I'd learn. The anxiety soon turned into excitement with the work I was doing, with the team and on my own. The group situations are so beneficial, sharing things with people you barely know never felt so natural. I'd highly recommend New Leaf to anyone with struggles in their life. The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable and do everything they can to help you on your way. Thank you all for a wonderful experience and giving me my life back R x
Hello to everyone. I would like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the staff at newleaf especially my support worker collin. I never expected a lifetime experience but i guess newleaf exceeded my expectations. I myself claim to be a strong critic but in this instance there was very little or nothing to criticise. I loved my stay and with everyone's contributions i am on my path to full recovery. I can assure all of you out there searching for help with recovery, newleaf is your place to be. Good luck on your path to a new life.
I have just finished a 4 week treatment program at New Leaf and it has totally changed my life. When I arrived I was broken. I had lost all my self confidence and self esteem through my addiction. From day 1 you are made to feel at ease and welcome. Everywhere is clean there is a lovely peaceful garden and the home cooked food is excellent. The treatment is brilliant. 1 to 1sessions, group sessions and other alternative therapies. The staff are all excellent. They have all experienced addiction and talk from experience not from books. I left there yesterday finally feeling that there is hope in my life. For anybody who is looking for help with their addiction New leaf is second to none!
New Leaf was a turning point in my life. Nobody wants to need to spend time in a recovery centre but my period at New Leaf gave me space to stop, reflect, listen and learn. The staff are knowledgeable and professional, providing empathy and emotional support but also challenging beliefs and behaviours when they needed to. New Leaf helped me to press the reset button.
i walked through the doors of new leaf a scared 23 year old with no hope of a life away from my addictions. i had tried everything to try and help myself but everything ultimately led to me just going back to my old ways. i was tiered and i was scared, and worst off i was at the end of my rope. i walked through the doors of new leaf broken, shattered and a faint ghost of the person i once was. but something happened when i was so warmly greeted when i walked past the threshold of those doors, i was given hope, i was given a chance, i was given my life back. new leaf is not your 5 star holiday get away and it shouldn't be, it is a place of learning, reflection and recovery and boy am i grateful for all of it. if you are reading this review as a parent, please do not loose hope, the staff of new leaf are there to support you guys all the way along the journey as they did with my parents. and if you are reading this scared, broken, anything like me. give it a chance, you deserve the life this place will so graciously give you the tools for, there is hope, there is a life away from addiction. thank you new leaf, you saved my life.
Doing the 28 days at new leaf was the most amazing life changing experience of my life, the care support, knowledge and love from all the staff was truly amazing. The food is great too! As long as you are willing to change and remain open minded and honest you will hopefully have the experience I had. I cannot recommend it enough. The after care option and the support you still get from the staff when you leave is great.11/10
