Yesterday I had the opportunity to take advantage of the banks offer of a financial review of my accounts at the Redcar branch of Halifax. My advisor was a wonderfully pleasant lady Stacey Pearson. She was marvelously professional and courteous and explained everything in clear and concise manner and in a no pressure way that made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. It has saved me a fortune and was a fantastic experience. Well done Stacey you are a great advertisement for the bank and keep up the good work.

Now lock down has been eased, they need to extend opening hours a bit, as they're still only open 10 am till 2pm. Still taking too long to do basic banking as well.

Only one customer in front but still a long wait. 2 other staff were too busy to open another counter. Separately from this customer service was very poor. I’ll certainly try not to return.

My wife and I moved our mortgage to Halifax from Santander as they offered us £1000 cash back, total disaster ...they passed us onto a conveyancing company called Enact who due to incompetence delayed our mortgage transfer costing us over £500 we contacted Halifax when we stared to get worried about Enact ....they didn't want to know ...we were reassured everything would go smoothly and on time with no charges ...ALL LIES...

This is probably the best bank I've ever used, with the excellent facilities and staff to match
