Halfords has always been my go to place for everything car related. If you need to pick up a few things for your car, from screen washer fluid to car infotainment system. Halfords is most definitely your one stop shop. They have great staff too, always helpful and happy to assist when needed.
I had a problem with my bike battery which was under warranty from Halfords . It took 6 months for Halfords to replace the battery after me having to contact by email and phone on many occasions. The service was terrible and when I went into the shop they were very unhelpful and really tried everything not to give me the replacement asking for all sorts of documents and wanting to see my bike again after I had already brought it in. I was very disappointed with the service and I will never shop there again.
Absolute Shambles of a Company .. Booked in for a sat nav to be fitted in tallaght at 2pm . When I went in they told me I had rang and cancelled, which I hadn't. Told me no there to fit it untill 5pm ! Asked for manger , girl rang him , he said he was on lunch break and wouldn't be back till 3pm if I wanted to talk to him . Then they sent me an invoice by email looking for money ! Rang customer service was holding for 30mins , while I was driving back to Wicklow .. Never again will I enter to doors of Halfords. Such time wasters .
They never have the items you want in stock in this store. You always get reverted to the liffey valley store for pick up. It doesn't matter, Ill go down the road to cycle superstore and get cycling trousers. Update: 1/2.23. Decided to give it another go as I seen the trousers were back in stock and I ordered them for collection. Just got a call there to apologise as they are not actually in stock. I'm sorry but halfords will end up like Argos. I'm going to get them on amazon.
Really dissatisfied. Bought bikes for children for Christmas paid extra to have them assembled and one of them was put together so badly that the back wheel doesn't move. Phoned the so called help line and was told there is nothing they can do. Shame on halfords children disappointed at Christmas because of sloppy work.
I needed wipers for my car, and the young guy couldn't have been any more helpful. Very professional and fitted them quickly.great service.
They staff here are great also obliging and friendly, fitted bulbs in my car in minutes, would have took me an hour, they are awkward and annoying to get at so I'll be getting them to fit for me in future. Happy customer.
I went into Halfords in Tallaght today to price bulbs for my car and wipers. Needless to say the 3 lads behind the counter at the cash desk were more interested in having a conversation than talking to me. I stood near the counter and then one of them came over to me and I asked him about the items I was looking for and asked him where they were. He pointed me in the direction and went back chatting to the other lads. Needless to say I won't be back. I'll buy the items elsewhere. Not one bit helpful
Got the bike I wanted on the day of purchase. It was a display model, but they let me have it when I informed them I had driven from the Galway store, via Castlebar Halfords, via Longford and Liffey Valley stores in order to find this bike. So thanks once again for hooking me up. Overall, I like Halfords and their bike selection, but the stock inventory online is a farce as it said they had no Raleigh folding bikes in stock nationwide, yet this store had x2 of them. I even rang Halfords offices directly beforehand asking for stock levels, to which they said they had none. I didn't believe them, so I went driving to each store and eventually found what I wanted.
Terrible service offered trade In take bike along to be told actually we’ve no space but they will offer b grade at next shop closest ..take bike there to be told no space and only d grade …what a joke and 3 hours waisted.... spoke to a great manager called connor in the end and had this rectified
