I was helped by the customer service desk at Wakefield Halfords on Ings Road, to select the correct battery for my Citroen C4 Picasso. I had joined the Premium club the evening before. As a result I received 5% discount, a £10 voucher & free fitting which was excellent value. It took Matt and Martin more than 45 minutes to move sufficient wires and hoses to access and replace the battery. It was far from straight forward but they persisted and overcame all the obstacles and had my vehicle up and running within the hour. Both Matt and Martin worked extremely hard and put everything back and I was amazed at the level of service I received. It was brilliant, certainly beyond a normal battery replacement. Well done!
Absolutely horrendous, One rear light out, offered two in case other was about due. Asked for them to be fitted. Lots of banging but after a while he said all done so drove away. Last night I noticed I had no reverse lights and the one light that was fine beforehand also not working Took it back to Halfords and both the light fittings hadn’t been put back in properly 1 light completely smashed and both reverse lights had been taken out He’d moved my parcel shelf so the roof on convertible wouldn’t work Hadn’t even put back the covers they were laying in the boot. Three very helpful Halfords fitters took over an hour to fix what the one guy had done just to replace one bulb Appalling this fitter should be sacked sending someone off with only 1 rear light, no reverse lights, badly replaced parcel shelf and covers
Lovely gentleman sorted out my bulb and went over and beyond this morning at 8.am. It was all in the rain as well. Made just about the right amount of conversation about the weather and gave just the right assurance when he encountered a tiny hitch. Thank you
I tried to order a part online but struggled to pay with a voucher so i visited the store in Wakefield. I asked the female sales assistant for the part, after checking stock on the pc, she said it's obsolete but then spotted something that may suggest they might be 1 in the warehouse, she returned a few minutes later with the part, which she said she didn't know it was there or that they sold it, she then offered me more money off as well as the voucher. Excellent service, i didn't get her name but she is a superb member of your staff.
Ordered an end adapter for a socket set. Both Ladies who were working last Sunday were absolutely spot on & couldn’t help enough. When I went to pick it up this Sunday the lady serving was still really helpful. Your staff are a credit to you. More than happy, thankyou for all your help.
If you want to get terrible customer service and staff who have no people skills and know nothing about the products they sell then come to this Halfords. I don’t come here often but sometimes I have to as it’s close by, every time I’ve been here I have had an unpleasant experience, staff are untrained and have very bad customer service skills and their number plate machine is always broken. I was served by Jess here and she swore at me…don’t think she should be working here or anywhere for that matter her attitude stank
Purchased 3 x dash cams for the family as part of presents. Inc installation Adam helped us decide which was the best product, well informative conversation with Adam happy with our product and great customer service. Adam was the main reason we followed our visit with a purchase as he made it very easy for us to pick the right product. Thank you Mr & Mrs Razaq.
Got a quote today to replace a light cluster on an MX5. £450 wanted! I've managed to buy one new for £135 and after a quick look on You Tube I managed to swap in 10 minutes £1,800 labour Halfords. what a RIP off
Bought a steering wheel lock last week and all good. Ordered a dashcam online to pick up at Wakefield and waited 6 days for a message saying it was ready. None appeared so went to the Wakefield store and were advised that no item ready messages are ever sent to customers so think the system needs sorting out before someone cancels their order when they believe the item is not in stock.
I had my rear dash cam fitted by Adam he was fantastic so helpful and friendly he went through everything with me nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend 110% very happy customer
