Arrived at Halfords store in Dundee Kingsway East and was able to get a 10 point car check straight away. It only took 10 minutes and the car mechanic gave me helpful advice about the wear on the tyres. Very efficient and friendly service by all staff.
The guy name is Grant he is the manager.nIn Halford Dundee. When I entered in shop he is watching to us very rudely then he whispers something to his colleague and laughs.nnIn halford Dundee we came to Dundee to watch match. Some one broke my bro car side car mirror in parking area I went to halford to help him to fix my brother car side mirror and there is nice lady she helped to us they said we don’t have a mirror available and Grant the manager he suggested to my brother in bed tone he don’t need a side mirror front and only one side mirror is enough to drive.nbut my brother said when I m driving I m not feeling confident to drive without 2 side mirror. Because he want to drive one hours to reach home. After this conversation.nWe went to bmw car showroom we told to the our all the issues to the bmw receptionist lady she suggested to us tried another similar something to car you can fit that one in halfford. So we back to halfford.nAnd I told to him can you please check something similar.nGrant said we don’t have a mirror you can go check yourself. so me and my brother we went to check the mirror and we found same mirror.nI paid for mirror and I asked to them fix it the guy said you need to fix your self.nWe came out and I saw one of the Halford employee fixing someone car I asked him you don’t have a facility to fix car side mirror he said yes you can go inside and asked to them in meanwhile Grant came out and spoke to his employer something in a meanwhile I went to inside the shop and asked in the till if I paid extra can you plz fix my Mirror bec it’s broken and I don’t have a tool and we supposed to go back to home one hour drive.nThe grant came inside and said get out from my shop.nYou guys are rude I reply back to him you were rude not us you can’t suggest to customer oh 2 mirrors is enough to drivenHe siad get out from my shop otherwise I m going to call police seriously you were rude to us and you are giving wrong suggestion the customer and what I notice He is talking to other customer very politely but when i was tried to talk to him he was so rude.nI m staying in Scotland last 16 year but I never seen this kind of rude behaviour or I can say he is raciest person. Not smiling and no good customer service. there were other staff they all good polite.nI felt he is racist.nnHe threatened me get out otherwise I m going to call police.nSeriously I m not thief I didn’t damaged your property. I didn’t done anything wrong because I m the foreigner you are whispering to your collages and laugh on us.nIt’s really heart broken.nI m well settled person.nDoing respectfully Job in Scotland.nI love Scotland I love people here they are polite humble but seen first time this kind of racist person in my life.
I used to avoid Halfords cause I thought they were overpriced, but recently the prices have been much much better, probably the cheapest in town if you join their loyalty scheme. I just got 5 litres of oil for my car for £25, the cheapest elsewhere was £45. Amazing.
Bought 2 child booster seats today and received excellent advice before purchase. Got them home and being uber impractical I went back and Nathan put both of them together for me in seconds notwithstanding the store was busy. 5 star service throughout
Bought a new Joie I spin car seat, we weren’t sure what to go for initially. We asked to try a couple for our 3 month old. No demonstration was given on installation or product use. Asked for the packaging to be removed, we thought the assistant would install as he asked to fill in a form. He carried it out to the car and told us to ‘just click it in and off you go’. He then wandered off to smoke outside the shop while we battled with it for 20 minutes in the freezing cold. Finally thought we had it all sorted then as we were driving home our baby went head down in it. We had no idea it had a tilt function which was essential for a child his age. No safety checks were carried out by Halfords and I definitely wouldn’t recommend going there if you want helpful advice on such an important purchase.
