Happy with the product which was collected with no problem. But I was shocked at the attitude of the staff re the "free" 10 point health check which I had booked online. I was told "we don't do it and this is time". When I said I had booked online the above was just repeated to me in a patronising tone. As a customer I have seldom been treated with such contempt and will not be returning to shops at Halfords again.
Big to the gentleman at the bike department on Saturday 31st August. I had a puncture, all the tools, but my pump hoze was stuck. I only needed pliers to undo it but he happily let me fix the puncture in store and use the track pump. Cheers again.
Very poor customer service. I purchased a cycle in-store and was told I would receive an email once it was ready for collection. I had no confirmation after 2 weeks so I tried to track my order. Wouldn’t accept the order details. I tried to get a number for the store but they don’t have one!! Eventually I managed to find a customer services number after a lengthy web search and finally got through. I was told that it’s not possible to track in-store orders and what’s more my purchase has been ready for collection for over a week!! Like so many large retailers, once they’ve got your money they don’t care and make it as difficult as possible to find any way to contact them directly. I’m a huge advocate for supporting High Street retailers but with this level of incompetence, I find myself once again wishing I’d voted with my feet and bought it on Amazon
I went today to Halford in Bury lancashire, to buy a digital car inflator, sales assistant was very rude, I told him, I want him to check, if I was buying right item as stated on website, he just snatched it off me and put behind the till. He told it was not that item.So therefore I went to another Halford store, took me two minute to buy the same item. Turns out it was correct item I purchased. Silly sales assistant wanted the item for himself as its was sale price. Just because, I just asked, don't mean I don't what I was buying.
Visited 10/9/23 both workers on bikes team were awesome. Visited early June blonde middle aged lady off windscreen wipers and checkouts went the extra mile. I do think the bikes are expensive but staff explained the 25% offer incredibly well. Normally I hate hal"frauds" but these visits changed my mind
I had great customer service when I went in to choose a bike for my grandson, a gentleman upstairs was so helpful and took the time to answer all my questions and later the same day went in to purchase the bike and a man called Steve and his manager gave me fantastic customer service and explained how I could have the bike built etc before collection…Thanks guys
Worst customer service ever, went with the intention of purchasing a Car Play today there wasn’t anyone on the shop floor to ask any questions or to help, went to the lady on the desk who looked extremely bored and desinterested when I asked her if there was someone that could help and her reply was that there wasn’t anyone as the only person was on fitting, someone walked in and when she asked him if he knew anything about the air player he said he didn’t know anything, why employ people who can’t be bothered and haven’t got a clue about the products you sell? Will go somewhere else who will appreciate my custom you have now lost an over £300 sell
I had an outstanding customer service at [Halfords Bury. The staff Graham and a blonde lady showed remarkable patience and understanding, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met with genuine care. Their appreciation for customers truly shined through their attentive demeanour and willingness. It's rare to encounter such exceptional human warmth in today's fast-paced world, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.
Been going to this store for a long time. Very friendly and helpful staff They take their time to explain technical details highly recommended
