Very helpful member of staff.  Item was not on shelf that I could see. Person on till came to help me look and when couldn’t find went into back as delivery that day. Found the item I needed. Staff ALWAYS very helpful whenever I visit but not in your face, will leave you to look.  Definitely would go again

What lovely, helpful and friendly staff you have at your Dumbarton store. I was so glad to pay for fit service for lights when it turned out to be a tricky one and pouring with rain, great value thank you! I was advised of the motoring club too which is a great bonus!

I have always found staff helpful here but totally let down by cycle centre!  Ordered a bike online with delivery slot,  I’m not local I have to travel by bus and train to get there.  I had not been able to call easily as no local contact number  to check if ready however I left it until later to make sure it was built.  Arrived and still in box!  They simply said come back tomorrow.  This really was not on. I had travelled by bus and train to get there and take a day off work so I could cycle home with the bike.  I cancelled my order and will go elsewhere why should pay another £10 on travel and take another day off work to  go back when it suits them! Really ruined my day and disappointed as my car is broken down for months due to the part not being available, and really needed the bike.

Not quite sure where to start. Customer service was absolutely horrendous Phil and Gav attitudes were absolutely stinking. I first booked in to get a dash cam removed to them phoning me to say they double booked me and had to reschedule then booked me back in for the cam to get refitted in my new car to them leaving me a voicemail saying they are too short staffed to fit it and would have to be another day to then Gav saying he couldn’t fit me in they didn’t have space to I which then said I should be priority as I already had an appointment and then I said I wasn’t happy and going to be complaining to head office to then for them to phone me back and fit me in the next day. Went to collect my car after all the hassle I had already been through to begin with them mucking about with my airbag they turned it off  and now I can’t get it back on Phil came out to check it said absolutely nothing he can do I’ve to take it to a garage Halfords auto care then got absolutely no apology no nothing he just then walked off and left me to deal with it myself after an issue they caused because when I handed my car over the airbag was on. Absolutely appalled at the service I have been provided by these guys. Will never recommend this place to anybody. Never got as much as an apology off anybody. And I’ll be waiting for the manager to phone me through the week.

Staff very helpful and nothing is too much for them. Ordering online was easy and collection great

showed bar code and account number at checkout and was asked for full price.there was a 15% discount offer in place, didnt get it. looked online and theres another discount offer of 10% for one day. doid get £5 off for membership but thats far less than offer.

I had a warning light for a headlight and went straight to halfords for their assistance. It was explained that Rachel was assisting another before me and then promptly came to me and my car and changed the bulbs quickly

Ordered a touch up kit at £14.99, the correct item was shown in the order confirmation but the store provided a spray can . Unfortunately the person who collected the order on my behalf didn't realise the difference. The item was then returned and exchanged for the correct item. This caused a delay to  the work and a another 20mile round journey.  Not impressed by the carelessness.

Bought a headlight bulb after checking on line putting in the car registration. Went to Clydebank only to find it had shut some time ago, no way of finding this out online. Went to Dumbarton store where they checked the registration and same H4 bulb came up. Went away to fit but it was wrong bulb. Got the correct one from a small local auto shop who said Halfords database is not correct. Contacted them who said to get a refund I would need to go back to Dumbarton but it was not worth the fuel cost
