If I could give less than 1 star I would! If you have been defrauded by this company and its Director, I will not mention his name, report them to Watchdog, Trading Standards, Citizens Advice Bureau, Action Fraud and Companies House. I spent £4,025 to get my engine reconditioned and have been left with a vehicle that is too dangerous to drive and unrepairable! I Rung the Engine Workshop Ltd to complain about their substandard work only to find they have shut up shop and done a runner. And the engine warranty they gave me?? Not worth the paper it's written on. Over the past few weeks I have written letters to the company, spoken to various advice centres, spoken to a solicitor and will be taking them to court if they do not get in touch within the next week. I work really hard for my money and am not willing to sit back and let someone get away with defrauding me of thousands, putting me and my family in danger in the process. Good luck to anyone else who has been taken for a ride.

Great service and had our 2012 Sprinter back on the road in 2 weeks when others (Main Dealer) said I needed a whole new engine they managed to rebuild it and its ticking along better than when we bought it. We are a catering company and this van is our bread and butter. Can't thank the engine guys enough for all of their hard work !!!

Collected and repaired my Audi Q7 from Leicester for a reasonable price compared to other quotes and my dealership. My engine seems as it did when car first bought. Comms could have been stronger but in this case no news was good news. Keep up the good work A+

Avoid this company at all costs. I sent an Audi TT engine for a complete rebuild. I was quoted £900.00 which would cover the transport costs and all repair works needed and turn around would be no more than two weeks. Lots of phone calls and legal letters sent to the Engine Workshop, four months later, my engine is returned, still broken with a sheared bolt in the engine block. Engine is totally ruined and wouldn’t even turn over. Now have trading standards, and solicitors involved to recover the costs through court. My car is only fit for the scrap now. This company is fraudulent, promising everything and delivering nothing. Please avoid them, total scam artists.

Absolutely terrible garage! I don’t even know where to start!First Jon the director ( or ex director he resigned backdate in 2017 and that is a lie) he gives only promises after he ignores you completely. Mark he hangs up the phone and only gives excuses! I have paid them over 4K - engine faulty , no warranty. They ignore all call and emails . They lied about the timing of completion they guaranteed me 7-10 working days and it took them 4 months to return the engine, i paid for all engine as they said the engine were completed and they were delivered same state as ive sent it to them. Absolutely no work done! They’ve invoiced me and promised the engine were ready after paying them ignored my call and Mark kept giving excuses . I had to pay for my own delivery with Palletways as they never paid to the delivery company to delivery the engine let alone that apparently the delivery was included. Do not trust anything this company tells you . They lie that they have done work and once they get paid they ignore you. They always have excuses , even Mark told me that they have billed me because they were short of cash and had to buy parts that is why they said the engines were ready . You shouldn’t believe anything they say . They don’t have even a proper business bank account they are using a pay as you go bank account ( pre paid one) . There is always excuses mechanic sick, garage closed due bad weather in Scotland first snow then flooding,late parts delivery , can’t find the parts etc . They will make a fool out of you and you will waste your money and your time . Don’t believe the prices they give you as half way they will tell you something else is broken and try to charge more and at the end your vehicle it will be in worst condition . The positive reviews they have probably are from friends or family. AVOID Nicola Rae and Rick Warrington- i am in same position like yours , i have reported them to Trading Standards , Eclaim , Online fraud etc and i am registering a case against them i have already lost 4k so £180 for small business claim wont make a difference.
