Fantastic service received fromnThe staff in Cumbernauld Halfords . Walked into the  store absolutely clueless needing a new car battery for son’s car .  After providing some details I was advised  of what battery was required and offered to get it replaced there and then with just a small wait due to another car being repaired in the bay already .nnCameron recommended I grab a coffee whilst he fitted battery for me to save waiting in the cold .nnCame back after half an hour and the car was ready for me. Quite clearly Cameron was very knowledgable and explained process , also gave very urself info re upkeep of car and potential issues he noticed that will need addressed  with the manufacture .nnAlso made aware of other services Halfords offer .nnOverall a wonderful experience , great customer care , would defo recommend .nnThanks

Visited the Halfords Cumbernauld store today for a battery replacement that had been booked online in advance using my car registration number. The appointment was confirmed by the store; however, upon inspection I was informed that they were unable to replace the battery.nI had expected that the vehicle registration provided at the time of booking would have been checked beforehand, and that any inability to carry out the work would have been identified prior to accepting the appointment. That said, I understand that BMW X1 batteries are located under the bonnet and may require additional components to be removed, which may make the job more complex than what the store is able to undertake.nI then asked if a basic battery health check could at least be performed so I could assess the urgency of a replacement. This request was declined outright. I was told that the BMW X1 is an “awkward” car and that a battery check could not be carried out due to exposed battery contacts causing resistance and potentially inaccurate readings. While I appreciate that there may be technical considerations, the explanation and overall manner of the conversation felt abrupt and dismissive.nCommunication throughout the interaction was poor, and at one point a staff member left the conversation partway through, which added to the frustration. The overall experience came across as rude and unprofessional, and unfortunately felt somewhat discriminatory in tone.nI have been a Halfords customer for nearly 20 years and have generally had very positive experiences, which is why this visit was particularly disappointing. I will continue to use Halfords in the future, but I will not be returning to the Cumbernauld store based on this experience.

Turned up at the Cumbernauld store & asked to get a headlight bulb replaced. Cameron was outstanding. Friendly, efficient, job completed quickly. Gave advice re windscreen wash. Very obliging & nothing was too much. Definitely recommend & I'll be back. Thanx Halfords Cumbernauld

I am on 100kms ride from Glasgow to Falkirk and encountered a flat tyre. Luckily found Halfords and they fixed my issue in couple of mins. Thanks. Zak & declan. Appreciate your work

Took my sons bike in for a service and was lucky enough to get a man named Derek. He was so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable not just about the bike but also deals within the store. If in again I will definitely be asking for him. Bike got sorted at a very good price and quickly as well. Great service.
