Ordered a roof box on line as there was a good offer on and I will need one for when we go away next year. Ordering process was very simple.nEverything was ready for me when I arrived at the store following receipt of my email to say it was ready.nChristopher who served us was very helpful as he helped to bring the roof box to the car and then helped to load it also in to the car which was very much appreciated .nnWould recommend and will use again.
I wasn’t sure what the problem was as my car wouldn’t start unless jumped off with jump leads. I took my car to Halfords Clough Road in hull and I was helped by Jess who I must say was absolutely amazing! She had so much knowledge and really put my mind at rest. I have come home with less stress and anxiety. Fully recommend this store and Jess. 10 stars from me. Thank you again Jess you was brilliant you deserve a bonus xxx
My husband went in today just to have a bulb fitted as we had noticed he had one out ! He was offered a free winter car check but he was in a rush and said he really didn’t have time ! He was then told there would a 10 min wait which he was fine about ! Approximately 10 minutes later a taxi driver came in and also wanted a bulb but wanted to fit it himself , but kept trying to get the staffs attention on how he should do it ! English wasn’t his first language so there was a bit of a communication barrier, however it should have been my husband ms turn next as at this point he had already been waiting 25 minutes, but he was totally ignored and the staff then went to help the taxi driver even though he came in after my husband ! At this point my husband walked out in disgust ! Maybe teach your staff customers should be served on a first come first served basis ! Ps my husband then went to a proper garage had it all done in less than 2 minutes and they didn’t even charge him as they said the battery cost 50p
A good shop for accessories and tools. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The Halfords' advance range of tools are guaranteed for life, and they are excellent quality tools, and they are good value. Break a sockets or a spanner, take it back, no questions asked, and it is replaced brilliant. Halfords are also very good for car audio equipment.
Popped in today for some thule roofbar feet and fixing kit to be told we need our registration number to know what kit we needed even after telling them we had looked on there website and it gave us correct kits clearly the women in this store have no idea and didn't know anything about roofbars or cars and need retraining drove to halfords in Grimsby and was served by a great gent called Dave who was only to happy to help and we got the correct kit and fitted straight away would not recommend anyone use clough road halfords
