After being disgruntled with incompetent service from a couple of other local garages, decided to try Halfords in Nuneaton after positive experience with a Halfords garage whilst on holiday. I needed new tyres and brake discs and pads. Easy to book appointment, competitive pricing, good communication throughout. Work is guaranteed, and I paid £49 for Halfords motoring club, the discount received so far as a result as almost recovered what I paid for a year membership already so definitely worth it. I'd definitely use this garage again and no hesitation in recommending.Services: Brake service & repair
Had my car MOT and a mini service and was very impressed by the service offered. It was simple yet comprehensive and gave me an all-round and very positive experience. Will definitely use them next year too.

Booked my MOT for my motorbike here about a week ago. Called today to ask for advice on how to jump start my bike as its been a while since I used it just to be told that they don't do motorbike MOT. So why was everything booked and my money taken? Good thing I called this morning otherwise I would've wasted my time and effort. Apparently this happens a lot so wouldn't it be a good idea to have your marketing team sort it?
Had to attend 3 times for major service, they were unable to change oil due to damaged sump plug which was replaced a year before. Lost engine splash cover after the 2nd visit and they are saying it was loose before. Was using their service for years and only now they rewarded me with no refund, no service and blocked live chat to chase the case.
Booked car in for 10 point check which is suppose to take 30 mins acording to their email. On arrival get told other cars ahead of me could take 2 hours!. This makes booking and getting a timeslot pointless. My Carwas done in 1 hour. Advantage of this place is you can easily walk into Nuneaton and do some shopping instead of waiting. Downside is pointless booking system. Apparently for MOT they do honor your booked timeslot. I did have MOT done a week later. Email notification sent says nothing wrong with car. But on the mot certificate there was advisories. They were mentioned by the staff. Just pointless email telling no issues found or any items on advisory only to be told different when you collect. So there is a misalignment going on somewhere.
Quickly booked...Next day Fitted a new battery to our 1 series in about 30 mins at about £80 cheaper than elsewhere
Great service. Booked my car in for a tyre and brake check. They promptly had my car on the ramps and gave a thorough inspection. Was told that my tyres were fine and my brakes were like new. A week previously I took my car to Nuneaton bargain tyres with an overinflation issue and steering wobble. The owner told me I had two illegal tyres and rear brake disc was worn. Having had the opportunity at Halfords to look under the car myself I can clearly see that bargain tyres were trying it on. I know where I will be taking my business in future.
I booked online for a brake check, arrived at Halfords to be told I wasn’t booked in. Rebooked and was told I could sit and wait if I got to Halfords for 8:30. Arrived at Halfords at 08:30 to be told I couldn’t sit and wait and the ladders on my van would have to be removed. No members of the Halfords team said anything about the ladders on the previous visits. The one thing that was really obvious was that they didn’t want to carry out the work. Everyone I spoke to in the Nuneaton branch were abrupt and had no customer service skills, it felt like they were all disgruntled people and they didn’t want to work. Shame on you Halford and all of your unhappy employees.Services: Brake service & repair
