Could not recommend them more, they helped me with a Luton van on a busy Friday when I could not find any Luton van in the entire of West Midlands. Had a booking with a big van rental company and they only had a small transporter available which did not help at all. Happy to have found Halesowen self drive.  Staff were helpful and friendly, could park my car on site until I have returned the van, this immensely helped  They detail any scratches beforehand and they point them out which is really useful, the only minus was that the fuel tank was on the quarter and was not easy to gauge how much fuel to put in, will maybe be easy if the tank will be full however in busy times that might be difficult to achieve.  Also they washed the car prior to collecting it  Great experience and will use again if required

Always hire our vans from here. From initial enquiry to collection and return. No bother.  Competitive on price. Fair and honest about van condition on collection and return. Gary is a lovely bloke who is down to earth.  I'd rather use a local business than one of the big companies.  Hired a low loader automatic Luton the other weekend no issues and lovely clean van. Have hired LWB transits before and been perfect too.  Easy to book via website and on phone.  Recommended.

Hired a 4m Luton for two days as moving house and I can't get arcade machines into a normal Transit without a tail lift.  The vehicle was clean and safe, clearly well looked after and no evidence of mistreatment.  Prices were fantastic, much lower than national companies in the area, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.  Would definitely recommend to everyone and I'll use again when it's time to empty my storage unit.

I have used the company 3 times, most recently only 2 weeks ago when I moved my son to Cornwall.. the service was 1st class, the van was perfect for what I needed, they were very thorough, efficient and superb in the way the dealt with me..

Great service from HSD, very professional and everything was very easy to complete and explained very well. Compared to the big corporate rental companies there prices were also very competitive. Overall everything was first class and i will be using there services again and its also good to support our local businesses.

I cannot praise them enough! I rang them due to another company falling through when I needed a van to move house and they were lifesavers. Within half an hour of the phone call I had a vehicle, and at such short notice! All the staff were absolutely brilliant! The vehicle was nearly new and perfectly suited to my needs. I would highly recommend you to anyone and I have found a company who I will use whenever I need a van!

Absolutely amazing service. Vehicles clean tidy. Very professional. Owner himself went around the the vehicle with me made sure of damage and all things needed to know. Not to forget the good customer service from the receptionist. Who dealt with me throughout the week been very detailed on how the rental would go. A space to leave my own vehicle. A good feel all around. Even a little glitch in bringing the vehicle back slightly late the company was very accommodating. All around a good experience. Prices are very competitive.Would definitely use again. And would recommend to anyone 10/10 thumps up

Have used them quite a few times and have never had any problems. The women who served me was polite and could do enough for me and the bloke was also polite and honest pointing out the minor scratches on the van before he let me have the keys and was also through in checking the van when I brought it back which suited me. And would definitely use them again in the future.

Very friendly and easy to use, happy to discuss my needs before. Van cab was spotless and the load area was clean. Easily less than half the price and more of their national competitors and, most crucially, allow an after-hours return.  My car was boxed in by other people returning their vans - I phoned the emergency number 6PM on a Sunday night and they were on site within 10 minutes to resolve the problem; can't fault that for service! Be aware of this however if you do need to leave your car - its quite a tight site and you may well have the same issue
