Excellent customer service in the branch today. The staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful and the price for two finished lengths of oak timber was very competitive.
Matthew who answered the phone was extremely helpful in getting the prices I needed for materials on an upcoming job and was very patient with my various enquiries. Brilliant customer service and a well stocked timber and building merchants right on my doorstep. How convenient for a joiner!
Cut some 3.6m boards in half for me to make the 1.8m lengths I needed. I was only buying a small quantity of timber but they were happy to help me out. Friendly staff and a good quality product.
Just been there today.Phoned to see if they could supply and cut some wood the person who answered the phone said yes no problem just call in and we'll do it while you wait.All the staff we're very polite and professional plus it at at good price. I'll certainly be using them again.

Do Not Order or Deal With this Company. Placed an order at the Garstang yard and had to pay in advance before being told that there would be a week wait for the delivery and the lady did her best to not sell me and put me off from what I wanted. On the day of delivery I called to ask what time delivery would be, first call rang for 5 minutes before ringing out, second call somebody hung up, third call I spoke to somebody who put me on hold for a long time before telling me I would be next delivery at around 1pm. I've waited in all day, lost a day's work and delivery hasn't been made. Tried ringing back and there's no answer, presumably they are now closed. Delivery will be refused if attempted at another date I've arranged the product through another company.
Covid secure practices were clear and well managed by staff. Control meant no wandering etc, which is also good. Collected goods I was told were ready but took 20 minutes to arrive, was only slight blip but was not inconvenienced by this. Friendly staff. Thanks.
Recently moved to the area and there has been a lot to do on the house. Staff here are brilliant. They know their products and are always good for a laugh. Prices are good as well.
