Had my hair done today with Nina after an initial colour consultation. My long thick hair just felt so frizzy, dry and boring and I was desperate for a change. I had a half head of foils, cut and style and I absolutely love it! Nina is so talented and knowledgeable, she made me feel really at ease and explained everything she was doing as she went along. I am so happy with the results, it’s made me feel a million dollars. Thank you so much Nina, I will be back.

Chris is clearly a really knowledgeable hairdresser. Gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I have longer hair in a mullet style and he did it so well. Really nice bloke too and great to chat with. 10/10 would recommend.

chris and the other two ladies where so lovely, i had my hair done by chris and my hair washed by the lady with purple hair. they both communicated with me the entire time to check if i was alright with what they were doing which they were doing perfectly already. i’m not much of a talker so i didn’t feel pressured into long periods of discussions like i’ve had to endure with other hairdressers which was comforting and calmed my nerves. the other lady with the tattoos was so welcoming when i first walked in. the decor of the place was unique and very aesthetically pleasing. even though i didn’t tell Chris in full detail what i wanted he somehow did the exact replica of what i envisioned which shocked me at first because normally i’m left looking like a mop when i’ve asked for short hair in the past this is due to my thick, wavy hair i also liked the option of blow drying, or diffusion. the price was amazing only £34 for a wash, cut and blow-dry definitely think it should’ve been more with the time and effort chris put into my hair and the products he had put in which smell amazing. overall a very nice place i recommend with music that didn't bore you tried my best to not move when check yes Juliet came on!!! . thank you to all the team for making my stay pleasant x
Awful. Sorry I didn't go into details about my teenage sons awful experience with yourselves. I will elaborate now.... after coming in and explaining my teenage sons fears and issues and Chris giving me a lot of reassurances he cut his hair. It was great... I booked him in again as I was so pleased... Chris didn't remember my son. So he kept him waiting for over an hour and my son eventually got upset and left ... before I could even call you, Chris took full payment for the haircut he didn't do and then called my phone and was rude and abusive. He told me how awful my son was for not telling him he was leaving etc and claimed he was only running a few mins late.... Chris did refund me half of the charges later when he had calmed down but this was an awful experience and it wasn't recent but I doubt the way Chris behaves towards people has changed hence I left a one word review instead of elaborating as it is not a good ad. I still feel hair Royale stole £10 from me and ruined my sons experience of hairdressers... I can recommend Dapranos at st marychurch really lovely barbers. Very friendly always run to appointment times and very professional, not my experience at hair royale ... happy Halloween!!!
I can’t put into words how happy I am with my cut and colour by Chris. I had zero confidence with my own hair so used to use hair extensions etc but now they and the box dye have been banished from my life. I suffer with a phobia of having my hair touched and I can honestly say I've not felt so relaxed and happy when having my hair cut. Thank you to Shiv for doing an amazing job on my crows nest and making my hair look and feel incredible. The shop itself is also so welcoming and just the perfect alternative place for a girl like me. Definitely coming back! May take another year to build up the courage but im so happy with today's outcome. Thank you again
