Katie Coward was perfect. Like some sort of Mary Poppins, she swept in (bang on time) on the early morning of my special day and promptly brushed away any nerves or anxieties from the long night before. In moments she was set up and ready to go, this wasn’t her first rodeo! 

Throughout the morning of my wedding Katie was invaluable, managing time and people effortlessly, calmly letting me know when I should go and do this and that and in what order. Everyone was ready on time and looked gorgeous – a special thanks as we changed my hair style from what we'd practiced and my sister maid of honour’s hairstyle was changed on the day too.  Katie kindly didn't bat an eyelid to changes and didn't make this feel like an issue at all. This also shows how talented she is too. I’ve never seen my Sister looking so chuffed with how she looked (and I could tell, felt). Both our hair and make-up lasted all day – something I was astonished with and so grateful for given the apparent lack of time a bride has to chill in the ladies...! 

I’ve worked with many people in many environments and it was obvious from the start - Katie is an extremely rare type of person – 100% professional but a genuinely nice person too. She ‘made’ my wedding morning for me and it’s a cliché but I couldn’t have done it without her. She felt like an old friend within minutes and a totally safe and experienced pair of hands. On your wedding day you don’t just want to open the front door to someone who does curls quite well, you need an expert – of course you do, but more than this - you need someone who will go that extra mile, really listen to you (and be realistic), and most of all you need someone who will seamlessly slot into one of the most intimate moments of yours and your families’ life. Katie is that someone.

Start to finish, as many have said, communication was excellent. I also had a trial - highly recommended for ideas. Often with wedding stuff you don’t know what you like till it’s you in that photo – not a Pinterest pin or magazine cut out – and a trial gives you that opportunity. 
What a dreamy treat Katie was for my wedding day, worth every penny and more. Genuinely don’t hesitate in popping her a note… I just need to think of an excuse to hire her again!
