Cannot get an appointment for love or money! They tell you to ring at 8 in the morning and the appointments are still all booked up once you get to speak to someone. It’s an absolute joke, especially when it’s for a child who is experiencing pain. I asked the receptionist what my options were and was basically told to ring back at 8 the next morning or queue at the surgery at 8 in the morning. Not ideal when your child has a disability.
Probably nobody would be surprised about how bad this company is. The doctors are useless. Why do people come to work if they don’t do anything? I was supposed to be referred to the hospital, but they ignored me. The doctor offered referral to the hospital I asked for allergist/immunologist, but nothing. I have MCAS, and my condition is serious. But yes, continue doing what you do! Stay lazy!
The only way to book an appointment here is via phone call, and that phone call must be placed at 8am. You cannot contact them via text, email or chat.nnIf you have a strict routine as a result of a physical or mental health condition and can't call at 8am exactly, then you will never be allowed to see your Dr under any circumstances.nnIf you do call at 8am, be prepared to be on hold for at least half an hour to an hour, at which point there's a strong possibility they'll refuse to give you an appointment because those they responded to first have taken everything available.nnEssentially, they've solved the problem off too many appointments being booked by denying care to a % of their patients.nnTheir official advice if you are on a strict routine, is to never contact them again and to just take yourself to a walk in centre to be seen. The health centre has a very long waiting time. If you are on a strict routine and cannot dedicate an entire day to talk to a doctor about your health concerns, then the official advice is to go to A&E.nnPlease be aware that if you aren't available between 08:00-08:20, there's no point in signing up to this practice as you'll never be given the opportunity to see a GP.
Used to get great service before they merged.nToo many barriers to accessing services, waited over 3 wks for blood tests to be informed no appt has been made. I now have to wait another wk.nGot mssg from pharmacist and called them back to discuss the mssg to be told they can only raise a task for call back. 5 days later and still no call back.nPut formal complaint in and haven't even received acknowledgement.nIt's really sad to see the decline as the Dr's and nurses here are lovely, they just need to remove the barriers.
We have been part of this health centre since it opened. We get 1st class healthcare, prompt and courteous service from a variety of professionals.nFrom GPs to reception staff, all very good. Prompt appointments, excellent communication, and full explanations where needed. We are so pleased to be a part of this terrific health care centre.
