Really nice location for a cuppa and slice of cake! The station is so well maintained, it's lovely. The toilet is something else! Will definitely return!
A little bit of history. Harlow Road has been restored as it was when the last train went through in 1952. The restoration was completed by the local villagers and this story is available in the ticket office. There is a cafe which serves teas and light snacks. The cafe staff were lovely and friendly. Contactless payment in the cafe. The station is set in time which is what its supposed to be. Fantastic.
There's not been a railway here for decades. This station is now a dog friendly cafe. The food was great, you can eat inside or get a takeaway from the kiosk.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 min

Great start for a walk. Or ending if you can afford the cafe. Fantastic to tell the kids about how it was, back in my day!!! Apparently issues surround parking with security but I've never found a problem or seen anything. Just don't leave anything on show in your car.
Lovely spot for a coffee with friends after a walk on the Wirral Way. Staff are helpful and accommodating, lots of choice on the menu, food the other diners were having looked amazing and our latte coffees and hot chocolates went down a treat. Dogs also welcome. Lovely cafe, really good use of the space
Hidden little local museum with amazing well preserved collection from former railway station together with one railway line not in operation since 50's There's main building with ticket sales room, waiting room, public toilets, central switchyard, coffee house, outdoor picnic seating area and loads of vintage advertising. From time to time, local community is organising meetings, events connected with exhibitions or food. Whole place is well maintained and you can feel history everywhere. Love it!
