Haddenham Dental Centre has been providing dental treatment to the area for many years.

The current principal dentist, Nilesh Patel, acquired the practice in 2007 and has set about transforming what was already a good practice into one of excellence. Nilesh places the well-being of his patients at the forefront of his endeavours, and his aim is to make the “patient journey” a comfortable and pleasant one.

His calm, placid nature coupled with an astute mind and excellent diagnostic skills has made him popular with his patients, whose recommendations have resulted in rapid practice growth with the registration of many new patients.

His practice is characterised by the friendliness and warmth of his staff, some of whom have been there for many years, and the environment is one of comfort and relaxation.

I'm not sure if I have experienced the infamous Mary, mentioned by others, but my experience of the practice is that the clinical staff are friendly and come across as professional if somewhat inexperienced, but the attitude of the admin staff and management to patients/clients is awful if you experience a problem. I had a crown poorly fitted and it came out 2-3 weeks after the appointment. When it came loose I had a follow up appointment. On the day, I had a call, at short notice to ask if I could go in at a different time as it would help them - which I agreed to do. When I wrote to them with a complaint they were not interested in what I had to say that I have had the crown for over 40 years and it has never been positioned - as they had done - so that other teeth collided with it, and it had NEVER come out so quickly. They did not acknowledge that I had HELPED THEM by coming in at a different time and their attitude appeared to be 'we know best' and paid no attention to what I had to say. I have since had it independently assessed and re-cemented by a private dentist who did a much more thorough job when fitting it and it has not caused any problems since. I am nearly 50 and have never felt the need to pay the higher fees of a private dentist, but this NHS dentist has knocked my confidence in NHS dentistry. I cannot recommend them I'm afraid.
I have experienced truly excellent treatment and care at this practice. All staff - without exception - have been welcoming, helpful and reassuring. Reception staff are efficient and friendly and don’t make you feel rushed - and dental nurses and doctors go out of their way to explain procedures clearly and make you feel listened to as a patient. It has been a very positive experience and my treatment has been excellent. Many thanks to the Haddenham A- Team! Joni
Worst dentist I have ever known botched root canal, left 2 pieces of metal drill snapped off in tooth and not told. Have had them removed privately at our cost £3500and have had to redo all other dentistry due to below dentistry standard. Avoid at all costs should be struck off
I attended the practice recently for the removal of my wisdom teeth and was very impressed with how quickly I was seen. The whole team was incredibly welcoming. I would like to thank in particular Dr Maini. He did an incredible job and was able to remove the teeth quickly, painlessly and with no complications. He has also been excellent with giving post op advice and ensuring that everything is healing well. I would also like to thank the nurse Criss who, despite my nervousness helped me to stay calm and relaxed throughout the process. Overall I am throughly impressed with the service here and cannot recommend this practice highly enough!
I have always been very impressed by everyone here. Both the admin and clinical team have been great. I know dental surgeries have been under great pressure during the pandemic but I found the process of booking an appointment to be very easy and they were happy to fit in with a time that would be convenient for me.
Cancelled as a patient because I missed an appointment due to work, ask to reschedule, got told I would be called back, never was. Hey ho. Dentist there, Priya, was extremely nice and professional, unfortunately, administration let's it down... Avoid Mary at all costs if you go there, will put a real dampener on your day!
Had a chipped tooth that need urgent repair, i was very worried about it and needed it fixed, going into the dentist i felt abit anxious but the dentist nzinga calmed my nerves and made me feel relaxed. The treatment was painless and the tooth looked good as new once finished. Overall a very pleasant experience with lovely welcoming staff.
Saw me as an emergency patient. The staff here were so friendly and polite. The place was impeccably clean. Im going back for a procedure in a few weeks and am encouraged by what I've seen already. I've had bad experiences previously, however I have only good things to say about Haddenham Dental Centre :
We went this morning to the dentist for a check up, and this afternoon, after I have reflected on how relieved I feel that our teeth are being looked after so well, I was just moved to phone them just to say thank you for providing such a competent, calm, reassuring, wonderful service. Everyone, from the ladies on the front desk to the dental nurses and dentists, provide a genuinely life-enhancing experience. And in these peculiar times, having access to the certainty of this sort of solid professionalism makes a genuine difference. I feel so much better knowing my son's teeth have had their check up and feel incredibly grateful for having this world class service on our doorstep. Thank you for doing the no doubt highly complex and difficult work that it must have taken to do what you do. It makes more of a difference that you'd imagine.
I booked a hygienist appointment for Monday morning 10:30 but needed to reschedule it for a later time that day so called the not so friendly receptionist on Friday morning 10am only to be told that I would be charged 50% of the full fee as I cancelled at short notice 3 days before the appointment. I find this utterly unacceptable but the receptionist Mary gave the distinct impression that she couldn't really care. Luckily the dentist itself and the hygienist as really friendly and capable
