A top quality butcher. Really friendly. And supplies the finest meat in the area.
We had the pork and stilton pie. It was so super yummy we went back and bought four more ! The sausages were very meaty and although we did not purchase - the chicken looked good. Thick bacon and lovely lamb mince. All good!
A pie is not just a pie,it is a spiritual experience,I think I may have eaten the Holy Grail of Pork pies,truly food for the soul,dare I use the 'P'word.....Perfection
Very good butchers but located inside a busy spar outlet so have to mix with other shoppers some of whom do not stick to covid rules. Handy if you want general shopping though
For a butcher , the food is quite processed. The amount of additives on burgers , sausages - even bacon are the same as supermarket packaged meats. To me , that's the point of buying from a butcher!
Try their new pulled pork firecracker pies - sent directly from heaven for us all to enjoy. 5 stars for home produced lamb, dry cured bacon and ready meals costing similar to supermarket but without the rubbish in them - just good sized portions of home cooked food without the effort.
Had the pleasure of working in the Yorkshire Dale's for six months and most days 2 sausage rolls if any left would be enough for dinner from here. Best I have found in England

Wow!!! Pork, Chorizo, cheese and sweet chilli pork pie!!! Amazing. Can’t wait to try the rest. A great selection of meat too.
There are experiences in life that are etched in a persons memory.....moments of time that cannot be forgotten.... I had just that timeline event in beautiful scenic Grassington .....that was sealed with a pork pie of shear perfection from Weatherheads. An experience for a pie eater that cannot be kept a secret.......
