A better day out than expected. I really liked the 'booking only' approach to the park. It meant that you were never rushed and could do things when you liked. The children have plenty to do and were constantly occupied with something. The owners have clearly spent a great deal of time creating this park, everywhere you look there is something to catch your interest. The onsite cafe was great and the staff were very engaging. Overall, a very enjoyable day out for all of us.
So many different activities for the kids to try and play on! Their little minds and bodies get a full workout here, from animal petting, den building, climbing, go carting.. There's too much to name! All the staff were so friendly, they have a few coffee stops. One being the mail cafe where they also serve light food options. We took our own picnic. I loved it, the kids loved it, it was a full day out so win win
Loads for little ones to do to keep them occupied. They didn't get bored at all and we spent 6 hours there. Food in the cafe is not ridiculously overpriced and the cost of the tickets are definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend.
Fantastic day out for the family, especially suited for younger children 3 to 10, there is plenty for children to do and plenty of open spaces for picnicking and play. The grounds are well kept and children will love the animals and activity playground areas though the slides can get a little hot to the touch if it's a very hot day. Overall well worth the admission price, it must be booked in advance online. There are toilet facilities and a small cafe and dogs are allowed so long as they are kept on a lead.
We spent a wonderful day at Gypsy Wood! There were so many activities to do and animals to see. It was well maintained and organized. Loved the train ride and the model trains. We were even lucky enough to see the fairy princess! Would absolutely recommend
A great family day out, the cafe is reasonably priced but I think you are able to take a picnic if you wish. There is endless things for the kids to do and you really can make a relaxed, fun, family day of it l.Playground: YesPublic restrooms: YesPicnic tables: YesBarbecue grills: No
Fab place, lots of things to do and see. I would say that my 10 year old Grandson was just about enjoying it might not next year. I would go again with the younger ones.
Such a beautiful place for a day out Kids had a lot of fun . Good food in good price delicious ice cream. high recommended Magic place
Lovely day. We went when it very first opened and again this weekend years on. All loved it. Only suggestion would be, the guy on the front desk didn't tell us certain attractions were cash only or others had to be prepaid at the desk upon entry. There weren't signs to say this either, only once in the park at each attraction needing additional payment or the ticket you attain when paying for them at the front desk. We weren't given maps or anything either and had to go back to reception to collect so make sure you ask before you leave the desk to save you a job :
Things looking rather battered and tired and in need of a lick of paint but the kids enjoyed it. Reasonable prices in the cafe and shop
