Yesterday myself and my husband celebrated our wedding at Gwesty’r Emlyn, we had an absolutely amazing day, certainly one to remember for the rest of our lives. We’ve had nothing but compliments from our guests about how well the staff treated everyone throughout the day and the night. I want to say a massive thankyou to Julie for all that she done for us leading up to and on our special day, without the help of her and her staff our day wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did. Thankyou so much for all that you done to make our day as special as it was. I will 100% be recommending this venue to each and every person I know.
My daughter had her wedding at the hotel this weekend. I want to say a very heartfelt thank you to the management and staff. Everyone was so friendly and courteous; they all went the extra mile to make my daughter’s special day the absolute best possible. We loved the quirkiness of the building and it’s superb gardens and function room. The food was outstanding! They helped my daughter to have the most perfect wedding of her dreams, she couldn’t stop smiling all day. Perfect!
The place looks old and tired carpet on the stairs was absolutely filthy, the rooms were also tired carpet really stained bathroom looked clean but shower was covered in hairs, beds were comfortable though.nnBreakfast was sparse only cereal, that or yogurt juice was cheap, 2 hot options omelette or full English my omelette was swimming in grease and looked a mess, full English was just thrown on the plate beans covered everything, the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted disgusting couldn't drink it.
Business related visit.nGood secure parking at rear at hotel.nRoom ok not brilliant.nShort staffed at time a visit looked after by a single individual and she was amazing at accommodating.nHotel had no ice during summer stay.nFood only limited to an tapas with limited options unfortunately.nVery small portions no chips/fries availablenFood not child friendly.
My son's wedding reception was held here and the staff were excellent and the food arrived at every table promptly. The food was delicious and people with allergies were catered for. A very enjoyable experience.
