I needed a blood test done here, called at 10am had an appointment by 11:05! The lady on the phone was lovely as well as the lovely nurse who took my blood when I was anxious. Free parking which is nice, lovely experience :
MRI staff refused to see me because I was 1 minute late. They claimed to have called me 3 times my phone was on loud when I showed them the call log there wasn't a single missed call on there. I arrived at the venue with a few minutes to spare. Bare in mind, I have a knee injury, so I'm having to limp in pain. I went to the front reception and was told the MRI van is in the car park. I went to the car park van and was told that van is for breast screening and the MRI one is around the back on the building. My appointment was at 7:20pm and I arrived at 7:21pm and the MRI van was already locked up at my arrival with 1 MRI worker waiting outside. I refuse to believe they didn't shut down and leave at least 5minutes before my appointment. I can't fathom them shutting down all the equipment, locking up and leaving in the 1 minute that I was late. Extremely disappointed after having had to wait 1month for an appointment.
I have needed to speak with a particular department so called by phone only to be given an obscelete number. When I called again to politely ask for the number I was told that was the only number they had. I needed to change an appointment and had would have had to drive there instead and go in, which as a disabled person in a wheelchair it is not easy having to organise for someone to take me in. I would have thought that as a new facility the phone numbers would have been correct.
If I could, I would give zero stars. I strongly recommend changing your receptionist staff, particularly the one who was on the third floor today at 15:30. Their behavior was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional.
I visited the hub today with my son as my usual GP couldn’t offer us an appointment so we were directed here. My son had ear pain and I just wanted him to be seen by a nurse or Doctor.nOn arrival we were presented with a miserable receptionist who had her head stuck in a lap top. She seemed annoyed that I had even asked her for help. She was very unhelpful and expected me to know the answers even though it was my first time here. Rude and entirely difficult for no reason. Even my 12 year old son commented that she wasn’t very nice.nFinally after some back and forth she directed us to the first floor. Upon arrival now to the first floor there is another reception area, so I asked where to go, the lady said you take a left. So we followed her simple instructions and were presented with many doors and a waiting area, unsure exactly where to go I went back to get more clarification. What we were supposed to do was wait in Zone B and wait to be called by the duty nurse. If the unenthusiastic 2nd receptionist had Simply said specifically wait in zone B and you will be called in, it would have saved me running around like a headless chicken. I’m guessing the receptionist thought I was telepathic!nnThe nurse who attended my son was amazing, attentive, calm, and very informative. Her name is Charlemagne I hope I spelt that correctly and she is fantastic. The 1 star I’ve rated applies to the very detached receptionists I’ve had to deal with. I rate Charlemagne a 5 star easily .nnI should have asked for the duty manager and had a word with them at the time, but my priority was to get my son seen to.
