As a female who knows very little about cars, going to a garage is quite a big deal for me. So when I got my car I asked around and so many people recommended Grove Lane and I’ve been using them ever since. The team are always so helpful and happy to answer any questions. Always very honest about what work needs doing and how much it’s going to cost, or giving you advice about what can wait to help spread the cost etc. Never feel like I’m being taken advantage of or being ripped off. Really reliable as well. Can’t recommend them enough!
Highly recommend. Noticed a rattling noise when I braked. Took my car to kwikfit to get a quote, they said I needed 2 new front brake discs and pads, quoted me £300, even said I shouldn't be driving on them. I took my car to Grove lane and they did a full check, even cleaned them and took it for a test drive. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the brakes, just some debris on them causing the noise. They were 100% honest when they could have easily charged me for new brake discs when I didn't need them. They charged me nothing not even labour costs. Whole process took less than 2 hours, even rang me within the hour to tell me nothing was wrong with the car. 100% recommend, spot on blokes as well. All the best.
Must highly recommend this garage. I had a Engine management light on dashboard took car to garage and was Greeted by Dan who was very friendly and polite booked car in for a Diagnostic scan results was found very quickly in faulty egr valve I received a call from Dan with a quote for part replacement .which was very reasonable price picked car back up from garage after receiving a call from Dan all parts and labour covered by a 2 year guarantee .I will be using this garage in the future. Phoned Dan with a squeaky rear suspension was advised by Dan to drop off car at garage inspection was done needed 2 trailing arm bushes which were quickly replaced dan phoned me to inform me job was done and car was ready to be picked up great job done rear suspension is now squeek free Will definitely be using this garage again. Thanks dan.
Fixed my issues promptly, I went in with what I thought was a coolant leak but they correctly identified it was the cooling fan for the engine that had broken, and additionally the oil filter needed replacing. Cost just over £300 for both, which is fair. I give 4 stars rather than 5 as the first mechanic I interacted with had made a bit of a cruel joke about all my bonus on my salary going to go straight to them for the fix which felt a bit unnecessary
If you want your car repaired and safe in the knowledge it's been done right, then this is the garage for you. I've been coming here for years, had my gear box refurbished on my Golf GTI and it's better than ever! The people here know what they are talking about and they won't rip you off, very honest people. This is the only garage to put your car into this side of Leeds, well in my eyes Yorkshire. Put your car in here and you won't be disappointed with the work done on your vehicle.
Been back for my mot and some other bits. I also needed 4 tyres and having checked the cost Dan gave me a price for Davanti mid range. I have to say I have had Avon and Pirelli but these Davanti are so quiet. Always great service and I can see why you have to book a couple of weeks in front
Came in early in the morning as I’d had a small accident involving my front bumper and a lovely chap came out and happily helped us out and sent us on our way within 5 mins. 10/10 would recommend.
Grove Lane always go above and beyond! Special mention to Dan who checked out my wheels after someone hit the back of my car and kindly didn't charge : Will be back as always a great service.
I used Grove Lane and they were lovely. Explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. They were helpful and very efficient. Will use Grove Lane from now on as my regular garage for services and MOTs.
Best garage I’ve taken my car to so far, the guys in there are proper sound and value for money is spot on. 10/10 would recommend
