The most lovely salon. The owner Julie is an amazing person. She's dog crazy and an absolutely fabulous groomer. I am right at the end of my i-Pet level 3 grooming diploma. I have loved every second of the training and will be really sad to finish. Its a really personal, family atmosphere place to train. Virtually 1:1 training. Definitely a great place to choose if you're thinking of training as a dog groomer.
I have just completed my i-PET Network Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming and salon management and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Groomingtails. It’s a small salon, so I felt very supported and received a lot of one to one support. I’ve been able to go from zero dog grooming experience to now having a job offer as a dog groomer after my course. Julie’s helped me build my confidence and skills working with all dogs. Not only did I get support for the practical side of the course but Julie’s always been on hand to help and teach the theory side of the course too. Thank you so much for all your help!
I completed the hand stripping and emmi-pet course with Julie yesterday and absolutely loved it. I have coke away feeling more than confident in offering both to my customers. Julie and her team made me feel very welcome, it was lovely to spend the day in another working salon. Both courses were hands on as well as giving an in-depth insight into the theory aspect. Julie answered all the questions I had in lots of detail, giving me the confidence I need to go forward with these treatments on my own clients. Thank you for a lovely day x
Where do I start!!!! I have almost finished the iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling and have ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY MINUTE. Julie and her team are so lovely and the 1-2-1 attention that you are given is second to none. I struggled to find a course that was flexible and could work around my existing job as a lot of courses run on set dates. When I contacted Julie this was not a problem and I was able to attend on 3 separate weeks to suit myself. I knew after speaking to Julie that this was the course for me and travelled from Bristol to do it. I have 1 day left and will be sad to finish. Thank you Groomingtails family x

I Faith Hancock trained with Julie my her level 3 diploma. The training I received was outstanding, and felt very personal.. not a big commercial groom school. Honestly would not take my dog anywhere else! Julie and Tina specialise in making your dogs calm throughout any dogs grooming experience! My dog was very nervous when he first came to them now he's running in like they are second family! They are just the best groomers and now finding out Julie is going to open her own grooming school is amazing!! Julie already has 10 years experience being a grooming school tutor and deals with a wide range of dog/ lovely people! Honestly 1000% recommend!!
We've used Groomingtails dog spa for our Lhasa since he was a puppy . Julie is great with Buddy, he loves seeing her for his 6 weekly groom. Julie always checks how we want him cut and offers advice if we need it and makes sure were booked in for a regular groom. He always comes home clean and fresh and a happy pooch
If an in depth and informative course is what your after Julie and her groom school is the way to go! With years of experience on all different types of dogs her knowledge and understanding of our fury friends is nothing short of amazing ! she offers a verity of different courses catered to you and what your wanting to learn. Definitely an avid supporter of groomingtails groom school !
Julie is fab with all dogs : so calm and kind wouldn't take my 2 year old doberman anywhere else: Love that she is offering canine first aid it makes me feel very happy knowing I am leaving my girl in very capable hands
