Wow! Where can I even begin! We bought the groom's suit and also the father of the bride's suit from Groom Liverpool and the service was incredible. From the minute we walked through the door, Vicky was amazing and we knew we were in safe hands. Her attention to detail was outstanding and her friendly nature made it such an enjoyable experience of having these suit's made. So much so, as the bride I insisted on going with the groom to his appointments just so I could chat to Vicky, I felt like I had known her years. She was so lovely! Jacob the groom and my dad both looked amazing on the wedding day. Their suits fit them perfectly and the quality of the suits were fantastic. Both of them received many compliments. Couldn't recommend Groom Liverpool highly enough, thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Recently used Groom for my wedding. From start to finish Vic was amazing! Given my groomsman were scattered across the UK she was so helpful with them popping in across weeks to get measured and even helped get a suit ready to be sent to 1 guy in Italy! The suits I purchased were amazing! Excellent quality and she arranged tailoring as well for us all and everyone was very pleased with how they turned out. Given last minute issues with 1 added suit needed it was no issue for Vic and she sorted instantly. Thank you once again for helping with my special day! I would never hesitate to visit again to purchase another suit!

I used Groom hire in Liverpool for my wedding in May 2018, and the service I received was excellent! The girls were exceptionally friendly, and went out of their way to help locate cravats to match our bridesmaids dresses, and find the best deal for the outfit I wanted. I popped in and phoned up several times in the run up to the wedding, and they were always willing to help. I had no problem with any of the 7 suits I hired. Would recommend to others.

Used 'Groom' for daughters wedding in August 2018 and the phrase "nothing was too much trouble" applies perfectly to all the people that work there. They thought about everything, every single detail no matter how small and were not afraid to give advice when necessary. They talked me out of the suit I was going to wear and am so glad they did. The quality of the suits is also first class. Groom certainly added to the great occasion and I would highly recommend them.

A pleasure of an experience from start to finish. Vicky and the team took all the stress out of finding the right suit with good advice and honest feedback. Even the challenge of having a best man arriving less than 24 hours before the wedding from Australia didn’t throw them off their stride, ensuring everyone of us looked and felt the part on the day. I genuinely don’t think we could have been in better hands anywhere else; the team know their stuff and make it happen so smoothly – total super stars!

All the staff at The Groom in Liverpool were very helpful and caring with the first and second fittings to my future son in law, his best man, and myself; they also have a very wide range of wedding attire and shoes to choose from. I especially like the fact that once one has had the second fitting the items hired can be taken away one week before the wedding date, and only need to be returned within two days after the wedding. Great service and friendly atmosphere that is much needed to especially keep the groom and guests calm and relaxed during probably the most stressful time of the grooms life :-

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Got married at the lakes at the weekend with my beautiful wife, our suits looked fantastic! I couldn't of been happier with all the help from the ladies helping us prepare our suits a week before so we could take them up to the lakes with us. DO NOT HIRE YOUR SUIT'S FROM HERE GO ELSE WHERE! Appointments not booked, wrong measurement's taken twice, advised the suit's would be ready five day's before only two out of five were. Went to collect the missing suit's 48 hours before and were told that actually they weren't ready we had to hang around Liverpool for 2 hours until 5.30pm. A member of the bridal party was hospitalised that week and was unable to try his suit prior to the morning of, they know he was taken ill as they spoke to him on the phone, his suit was too big and he had to wear one of his own, we have been refused a refund. A professional company would have had everything right so close to the wedding as it's too late to make adjustments, I have never dealt with a service as abysmal as this there are plenty of suit hire provider's in the North West who are coherent and professional.

Avoid this company! We had utterly awful service from them from the start. Firstly we made a trip down to see them, they knew beforehand sizes and when we got there, were completely unable to fit one of the larger members of our party. They offered to order in a suit for him to try within the week. We waited a week and no contact from them, we called up and had them tell us that they would order it straight away, yet 2 weeks later they still had no suit for our larger guy to try on! let's just say that suit never came in store for a try on so we informed them that we would be taking our business for the best man and father of the bride elsewhere, but would still like to buy a suit for the groom from them seen as we had a deposit down. Every few weeks we called up asking if they had ordered the suit into stock for us to try on, every time they asked us to come into the store and try on the suit, the same suit each time in the same size that we tried on the previous time that we knew didn't fit. We went back 5 times to try on the exact same suit and we got 3 weeks out from the wedding and they still did not have the suit in the shop for us to even try on! When we did go and try a suit on the sales assist was constantly saying the suit looked fine, even though the trousers were barley grazing the ankles of the groom, she kept repeating that 'thats the fashion now' when in reality the trousers were a good 2/3 inches too short in leg length and the waistcoat was sitting higher than the trousers exposing the shirt and the waistband of the trousers. That's when we made the decision in a state of panic to go and buy a suit eleswhere because we had lost all faith in the groom actually having a wedding suit on his wedding day from this company. The suit we had picked from them was being charged at £600 to buy, a quick check on the suit merchants website showed the full suit, to buy for just over £300, so not only could they not order a suit into store, they were also doubling the price of it. In addition to this we would make appointments for around 10/10:30am, we booked these appointments in with them so they knew we were coming, they knew what suit we needed and all the details of our order, yet we would arrive in store to them still trying to find our paperwork, rushing around to pull a blazer jacket of mannequin and we would spend a good 15 minutes every time we arrived waiting for them to actually work out who we were and yet again pull the same suit of the hanger we had tried on the previous time. It was always incredibly unprofessional. We never actually got to try on the suit, in the correct size from this shop for our wedding, which considering we were 3 weeks out from getting married is ridiculous. So we lost £150 to this company for literally nothing but to driving back and forth to Liverpool and never even seeing the suit in the correct size. Don't make our mistake and just avoid them.

Such lovely helpful girls who did everything to make sure the suits were prefect. They even took a sample of my bridesmaids dresses to find ties to match, and did their best to locate a matching children's tie for my page boy even though his suit didn't come from them the original suit came with a bow tie. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is not down to the girls in store. The problem is they have been told from the powers that be they are only allowed to book appointments for a certain length of time no matter the party size. So each time we had an appointment and arrived on time there always a delay. I have read the reviews below about potential customers being ignored, I too had this on my first which I attended without appointment. However, this is because they were running late it was a very busy Sunday and they were dealing with the customers who had made appointments which is only fair. The staff did manage to squeeze us in to try on a suit after we waited patiently for them to finish with their current appointment. We made an appointment and returned at a later date with the wedding party and received nothing but an exceptional service. I would highly recommend, but please make an appointment to ensure you receive the best out of the girls.
