Very high standard B&B, super clean, cozy, quite big rooms with ensuite with all you need for the stay hairdryer shampoo, shower gel ... The owner Gary is friendly and available. Food is high quality, locally sourced and very tasty.
The Grey Bull was our third and fourth night during our Hadrian's Wall tour. Once again an old house with very welcoming hosts, we had a room at the top floor which was quite cozy and had a good and clean bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and we got a good service there as well. Very classy Bed&Breakfast.
The Grey Bull B&B is terrific and highly recommended. I recently stayed here as my base for visits to Hadrian’s Wall. The room was quiet, comfortable, and impeccable. The breakfast—both the cold buffet and hot menu—was fresh, varied, and generous. Katheryn and Gary are charming and hospitable hosts. This is unquestionably the finest place I have ever stayed.
I desperately wanted to give 5 stars but haven't - lost ½ a star cos the decor was fairly dated. Staff & owner were absolutely outstanding. Friendly & helpful. Breakfast full English top class. No veggie sausages though lost ½ a star. Highly recommended. My marking system is harsh!
Had an adequate night's stay in this B&B. Two rooms, one much more up to date than other. Perfectly friendly hosts but they didn't really respond well to our pointing out some issues.Rooms: 3/5
Wonderful stay, totally recommended to all. Stayed here during my trip to hadrians wall and had a smashing time. Rooms were great and so was breakfast. Brilliant fried buffet. Thank you so much!
A fantastic little BnB with the most welcoming hosts! With a secure space to keep our bikes and a great breakfast in the morning, this was the perfect stop off for our cycle of the Hadrian’s Way. Every little detail was thought of in our room and it was a perfect stop off for the night.
This was our base for walking Hadrian's Wall. Brilliant B & B. Great breakfasts, handy for eateries in Haltwhistle. They encourage you to bring back your own takeaways.Rooms: 5/5
Everyone is very friendly. The room was clean, you can tell it's well looked after. The breakfast has set me up for the day if not the week!
Had an enjoyable stay. Good value for money, room decor really nice. Breakfast was great. Comfy nights sleep. Will return for sure.
