Small station on the Chester to Manchester line. It has some shelter and seating available, but could benefit from extra. It could also benefit from a more convenient way of changing platforms, as you currently have to leave the station and use the road bridge, though there is step free access to both platforms.

Handy for Church - Christ Church, Greenbank meets in the old Station House on the Chester Road Manchester bound platform side.nA simple, unmanned station with a small free car park by the Church, and small shelters and CARD ONLY ticket machines on both platforms. You can print a Promise to Pay if you want to pay cash on the train, and you may encounter problems if you get on the train with neither ticket nor Promise to Pay. A one minute walk from the car park over the road bridge to the Chester bound platform. Wheelchairs have ramp access to the Chester bound platform but there is no car park, only very limited street parking, on that side. For the Manchester bound platform you can avoid the steps down from Chester Road by accessing through the car park vehicle entrance minding the cars - and potholes.
What can I say about a railway station. One important thing is that they don't have a waiting room or toilets.
Unstaffed station but it has waiting shelters and ticket machines.
